Have we ever heard an actual wrestler call Carlito lazy, outside of maybe a promo? How the hell would we as nonwrestlers know how hard he's working? Doing spingboard moves is always challenging, especially on ring ropes instead of cables like most wrestling companies use. He doesn't have to do them. He'd get the same reactions either way on the mic. Yeah, "lazy" isn't something I'm buying here. Didn't J.R. call him (and Shelton Benjamin) out on his blog a few weeks ago? I guess, but no names were mentioned.

You know, at least Carlito still gets decent TV time and a PPV match once a quarter. How about WGTT? They have been jobbed out to the point where unless they are repackaged, no one will ever take them seriously again.
I mean, when you're losing 2 minute matches to the likes of Cody Rhodes and the team of Jim Duggan/Super Crazy, your career is in the crapter.
But yet you never hear them complain, right?

Anyone ever feel like we're a little quick to assume these reports are true?
They've been wrong a LOT lately.

I just think Raw isn't the best fit for the guy. Him and Kennedy are too similar characters, and Kennedy is admittedly better at it.

I'd be pretty unhappy if I was him as well. We can all agree that his ring work isn't great, but he does have potential and he at least has a developed character. I'm not saying he should be a main eventer or anything, but he should be active in the mid-card division and not being jobbed out to everyone that walks through the door.

i think the only reason he is still there is because the wwe love second generation wrestlers.

if he doesn't want to be there then he should pull a booker T you mean fail a drug test and blame the company for it?

Anyone else reminded of Smackdown vs Raw when your midcarders get autojobbed out and become unhappy?
Someone should post a screenshot of a Carlito one with the caption "QQ more"

I remember the match he had with Sandman not so long ago... and it finally hits me: the guy is not giving his 100% anymore, get him the F*** OUT!!! I mean, jobbing is jobbing, but if you do it RIGHT, you'll eventually get noticed (ex: HHH; Shawn, and Bret)

El Cernex I am just giving you a hard time. I disagree with you, but respectfully. I think Carlito seems like he's not trying because 3-4 minute matches are beneath his skill level. He probably needs to feel challenged. And I think outright firing him would be stupid. Big Show and Mark Henry both got sent to developmental to be reinspired. Why would he not deserve that chance, especially given his potential?

Most of you are letting the creative team off the hook in this case. How are you supposed to be motivated when you're giving no defined role or storyline in the company. Two months ago Carlito is in a quasi-high profile feud with Triple H. Now he's jobbing to rookies like DH Smith.
And it's not about position within the company. Someone like Jim Duggan or Funaki don't complain about their position because they know it's their job to open the show and generate that initial pop from the crowd. It's not glamorous, but they know they're role.
But when you get jerked around like Carlito (and many others like him do), it has to get frustrating. Why do anything more than the motions when you're in the ring when you're given no story to tell?
For too long the writing staff has only developed storyline for the main event stars (and even those storylines are pretty flimsy), while the rest of the staff are thrown out there as filler.
Look at Matt and Jeff Hardy. They work hard every week and where has it gotten them. Maybe Carlito just sees the writing on the wall and isn't afraid to voice his opinions.

that's the truth though. the guy wrestles like he doesn't care.
I don't get why a guy in his position would be all sad, it's on him not on WWE to improve. screw Carlito there's guys trying much harder with a lesser role than him.
Wow you thought that one all night? In this monopoly business of wrestling with no unions, it is really hard to stand up for yourself and those who do, have a pretty good chance to mess up a glamorous future. For Carlito it seems like a rough spot, if you've been wrestling in Puerto Rico and suddenly get a spot in WWE its something you want to relish. On the other hand, do these people want to live with all the crap that comes from the "people with power". Case in point, Benjamin and Carlito have recently been nothing but fodder to the returning HHH and while they're trying to keep on performing(which they might do twice or once a month) they have to listen to asskissers like JR talk about "People leaving to play video games instead of watching greatness personified, HHH". That's hardly motivating and we do know that motivation is everything.
