Carlito was originally a cameraman and didn't want to wrestle, so this really shouldn't be too much of a shock to anyone. Naturally, he will be back wrestling in Puerto Rico in no time.
It's a shame as he suffered from never having anything done with him, and when he was actually used, it was to job to Cena or HHH. He should have been champ by now, and should have been in the main event a long time ago. I always thought he was good, and I hope someday he will be brought back.

No wonder he always looked bored and unmotivated.

Carlito should have just told his dad to smurf off.
It's make you wonder how many 2nd or 3rd generation wrestlers are in the business because they want to be there, and how many are only there because they were placed under pressure from their families.

I feel kinda bad. I've always wanted more from Carlito and his character. But if it's not in him, then he should get out while he's healthy and young.

Well good, character was initially fun, but boring as hell lately so I'm glad he's getting out and trying to find something else to do.

I know the proper thing to do here is to blame the promotion for not utilizing him right, but let's be honest- as of late, I haven't seen the spark with him.
In a way, it's both the WWE's fault and Carlito's fault.

Aww, I like Carlito and now I'll have less reason to watch WWE. If Matt and/or Jillian gets canned, my WWE watching will go from sorta interested sometimes when HHH is not on to couldn't give a crap, what's TNA doing right now.

Not to derail this potentially sad thread about Carlito's impending departure. Her name is Jaime Koeppe So i'll say this. Though he would have benefited from getting a some wins in his current feuds to make him rally and regain his love for the business. It seems like Carlito already had made up his mind about his career. I really would have love to see him mature in the ring through the years. To the point of becoming one of the top draws in the company. I kinda see him doing this then revitalizing his career outside of the WWE, then coming back with a renewed love for it. Who knows, ya know. maybe I should reply like this more often

As for Carlito, looking back at his career, I can see how he didn't have much passion for wrestling. Hopefully, he'll find a much more satisfying career.

No huge loss.
Carlito hasn't been interesting since his feud with Masters (one where fans turned him face.) Since then...he hasn't done much in the way of being interesting.

wow... www.wwe.com/inside/power25/The following Superstar(s) failed to maintain their position on the P25 this week: Carlito – Off the P25. Not so cool, huh, Carlito? The Caribbean Bad Apple reaps the reward of being lazy to the core lately.

I expect to see Snitsky maul him as a goodbye present. I believe SNITSKY does just that on this weekend's HEAT (which isn't loaded up on the site yet, but should be today...) Wouldn't be surprised if this was the last we see of Carlito, and can't say I'll miss him. Interesting -- 2 current guys that I didn't care for at all and who I felt were pushed too hard by the 'E - Carlito and Chris Masters - gone from the company within weeks of each other.

Yeah the last two guys elminated from the chamber match at NYR 06 fired in a month. I remember that was supposed to be a big break out match for both of them, outlasting Angle, HBK and Kane.

It seems like everything he does is shot with John Morrison's slow-motion camera.

Predictable x 10 Watch him go back to Puerto Rico and instantly become champion upon his return, since he can claim his former WWE status makes him a "big star" And to think, he was in RAW ads on USA just last year.
