I'll agree with her about Lita, but why is she comparing it to her situation?
The two bare absolutely no resemblence. She comes across as an idiot for seemingly throwing away a push near the top of the card. Shouldn't she be happy she would essentially become EDGE's valet?

I don't like the tone of this thread.
Krystal is an idiot for not going through with an angle that she was uncomfortable doing? Even downright offensive?
If she did do it, she would be a sell out. For crying out loud it's Krystal's choice to make. Maybe being "pushed" as "dirty skank" wasn't worth it in her mind.

While I can't say I completely agree with her reasoning, the bottom line is that it's still her choice.

She should be commended for standing up for her personal beliefs and not taking the easy option of going along with it for the money like so many others would have done. If some people find her logic hard to understand then so be it. If Mickie James did the same thing people here would be having an orgasm about how principled she was for staying true to her beliefs. I don't get all the spiteful comments about her. Has she killed someones pet or something? Or is it just because she's Lashley's girlfriend.

Yeah, it's her choice for sure. It just sounds a little strange that she wouldn't have an on-screen relationship with Edge, but would jump around shaking her naked ass.

Maybe if she hadn't done all the Bikini contest, the Teddy Long stuff or play strip poker on TV then I could take her more seriously. I am not calling her an idiot but, I will say this seems highly hypocritical of her. I mean she has no problems taking off her clothes and making out with people when a face but, has some moral objections if she has to be a heel?

It's Stuff like Candy Shop by 50 cent. I'm sorry, but if you can do Candy Shop, a part of you as a human dies inside.

I'm not gonna join the Pile On Kristal Party that seems to be forming here. Her not being on my TV doesn't affect me one way or the other, and if she wasn't comfortable doing it, then she shouldn't go along with it. And save me the "but she did the bikini contests blah blah blah" arguments. So parading in a bikini and doing mild stripteases somehow waives her right to object to a makeout or sex angle? What is this, some kind of gateway nudity/sex expectation some of you have of women? Or maybe I'm out of line. After all, the vast majority of wrestling fans are so enlightened and can separate acting from reality that a woman who does a simulated live sex celebration is praised and applauded for her acting. Or is she ridiculed, degraded, and villified to the point that fans start believing she really is a slut in her personal life as well. Maybe Lita could shed some light on that. And from that, I can understand why Kristal didn't want to follow that slippery slope.

For my two cents, I think it's a pretty dumb move by Kristal. When she signed a contract with WWE what did she think she would be doing? Did she think she was going to be holding up a sign saying Round 2 like the UFC chicks? It's wrestling, WWE wrestling no less, where they treat it like a movie. This isn't 1985 where she'd be expected to travel with Edge etc. She could walk out, make out with Edge after a match and still drive home with Lashley. People hated Lita because she cheated on a really popular dude with his BEST FRIEND. Have ya ever had that happen to you or someone ya know? It's hard to look at that chick, or the dude, the same afterwards. But in Kristal's case it's JUST ACTING. Do you think Steve Carell has moral issues with making out with the chick who plays Jan on the Office? It's just acting. And those are both shows (WWE and the Office) that pass themselves off as being "real" atleast more real than most TV. I think this reason for her being fired is her trying to save face and kiss the IWC's collective ass

I don't know about the rest of you, but she lost me at Why? Because Lita was one of her favorite female wrestlers? Pretty straightforward. No. It's the whole "Lita is the best EVER (really, it's Jazz)" thing that, to me, sounds like it was written by a 3rd grader, and I can't take anything she says after that seriously. She purposely and willingly contradicts herself on her OWN opinion. It should be common sense that, if you think Jazz is the best female wrestler of all time, you don't say Lita is the best female wrestler of all time. I also happen to think Jazz might be a questionable choice for "best ever," but that's neither here nor there.

Or her past music video work? She didn't have a problem being comfortable then. She can do that but, not make out with Edge? This, to me, just reeks of hypocrisy. When she was a face, she had no problem being suggestive and kissing/making out with someone but, when asked to do it and be a heel, she had a problem.

When she was a face, she had no problem being suggestive and kissing/making out with someone but, when asked to do it and be a heel, she had a problem. I'm sure that Lashley probably had some input into this whole situation. If I remember correctly, wasn't he trying to get her moved to RAW so that the two of them could be on the road together? And if instead, they said that Krystal was going to "attempt to kill" Teddy Long and hook up with Edge instead, how do we know that it wasn't Lashley who told Krystal that he didn't want her doing it? Others say that "She could still go home with Lashley", but more often than not, a male wrestler paired with a single female wrestler has a high chance of hooking up in real life, even if it means leaving who you were already with (HHH/Steph, with Chyna left behind; Maria/Santino, with Punk left behind, etc...). There's precedent for things like this occuring, so I could see where Lashley might be concerned, if he indeed had any input on Krystal's decision.
