Nice to see some Brody love on there! Weird that there's only one match involving Kerry, although the one that's there was the biggest match of his career.

I can't believe they didn't put any Undertaker or Steve Austin on there. Especially since they even faced each other in a one on one match. They should have at least put a match from the Austin/Chris Adams feud. Oh well, I'll still be buying it!
Although, that may be a matter of them not owning that footage. I've heard that WWE doesn't own all of the World Class footage, only up to a certain year, which makes sense since the footage on here only goes up to 1986.

I don't think Vince owns any of that footage. I think UT as the Punisher was then too.

I could see him telling whoever they talk to about DVDs not to put it on there. Either way I'm buying this, it sounds great, plus I've never seen most of this stuff.

The next few times I see the usual "God, Vince is so bad for wrestling" whinings on the ol' Intraweb, I'll just quietly sigh and thank Vince McMahon for putting out a DVD with a Bruiser Brody/Abdullah the Butcher cage match on it.

This looks awesome. I was suprised to see a Ricky Starr match on there. Since I have Heroes of World Class, I'll probably get this as well.

What makes you think Vince handpicks the matches?

Hate to burst bubbles - the Kerry/Flair match is NOT the match where Kerry wins the NWA Title. He won the Title at the 1st David Von Erich Parade of Champions.
It sounds like a great DVD. I became a wrestling fan because of the old WCCW broadcasts. For some reason, we got to see them in Massachusetts. In fact, WCCW wrestled in Lynn, MA one night (which was unheard of during the days of territories).

What makes you think Vince handpicks the matches? I don't. But he is the one who bought all the matches and he's the one paying the guys who put the DVD together. If I knew their names, I'd thank them too.

WCCW was before my time, however I'll still check this DVD out.
I'd still like to see a proper WCW DVD, to bad it'll never happen while Vince is alive.

Nice to see some Brody love on there! Weird that there's only one match involving Kerry, although the one that's there was the biggest match of his career. I kinda disagree with that, I think his unification match with Lawler definately surpasses it in terms of storytelling, even if he did lose. The Flair match definately cemented his career, but the Lawler match was probably a bigger impact. That match is on the AWA dvd I think. Too lazy to grab it and see.

Hate to burst bubbles - the Kerry/Flair match is NOT the match where Kerry wins the NWA Title. He won the Title at the 1st David Von Erich Parade of Champions. But if I remember correctly, this was the match where the Freebirds turned heel (remember they were faces when they first came in) and kicked off the Von Erichs/Freebirds feud. That's better than seeing Kerry win the NWA title for an 18 day stretch. Nice to see the (seemingly) never-ending Chris Adams vs. Kevin Von Erich feud is represented. I would have liked to have seen the "Handsome Half-Breed" Gino Hernandez on it, as well as the bit where Jimmy Garvin lost to David, so he and Sunshine had to be servants on his farm for a day. Great stuff there.
