Former WWE manager Paul Bearer posted the following statement on his blog regarding Monday's Raw 15th anniversary special:
Many of you are aware that this coming Monday, December 10, 2007 at 7pm (CT) on USA, will be the 3-hour 15th Anniversary of MONDAY NIGHT RAW. To settle some suspicions, I was contacted by WWE officials last week requesting that I be a part of the broadcast. As much as I would like to do so, my current schedule completely prohibits it. :-( _________________ Isn't he supposed to be dead in the WWE anyways? maybe if they had him come to Raw with the cement still all over his legs and arms.

Damn, I was hoping Bearer would be there so we could have some closure to the Undertaker/Kane/Bearer storyline, once and for all.

So does that make Paul Bearer a sell out and ungrateful?

I thought Undertaker killed him by pouring cement on top of him.

I thought Bearer had slimmed down quite a bit since he left the E. You think they would have attributed his weight loss to him becoming human cement block?

Anyone else find it messed up that they are trying to contact people a week before the show?

So does that make Paul Bearer a sell out and ungrateful? No. He at least gave us a legitimate reason as to why he cannot appear. I remember they explained on WWE.com that Bearer was somehow saved after the PPV went off the air.

At least this doesn't mean that Paul Heyman can't still show up

Anyone else find it messed up that they are trying to contact people a week before the show? It sounds like they asked him weeks ago. It's a damn shame that Bearer and Rock have no souls and sold out!!!! I think we should all make SHOOT videos on youtube telling them off!!! Wow I wonder if that's how youtube shooters actually think...

Wellllllll, WWE is basically a film production these days. Kayfabe is dead.

I remember they explained on WWE.com that Bearer was somehow saved after the PPV went off the air. Well, in the case of the Rock he doesn't have to explain what he does to anyone. If he doesn't want to show up, it's his choice. It's like people actually want him to ask permission if he could take off from a show, even though he's not been contractually obligated to WWE for years.
