The match was good, the card placement was bad.

I don't know, I thought it was a pretty good match. Not the best in the world, but it was okay. Though, it was sloppy at times. I doubt that was his fault. He and Kennedy probably don't have good chemistry with each other.

The match was good, the card placement was bad. Yeah, that really shouldn't have been the last match. I would have had it first, then followed by the ladder match and Evolution VS Rated RKO and Umaga.

Eh it was a typical Kennedy match slow, sloppy and plodding.
Kennedy was messing up spots and taking weird bumps. I find it weird how Marty can have a better match with Sylvan, but then I really liked Sylvan.
Kennedy was the guy who ruined the match for me.
MARTY! MARTY! MARTY!
they lacked chemistry.
If you have a bad/awkward match with Marty Jannetty, that kinda means He'll have a wonky match with HBK.

I blame Kennedy for that match not Marty.
It was decent for what it was, but Kennedy has wrestled last week and prob over the weekend.
Marty hasn't had a match in a few years and he's put his body through hell...he's old now we need to realize that.

My freinds and I were playing Guitar Hero 3 during RAW(I had the tape going at home), and we tuned in right before this match started. My freinds didn't know who Marty Jannetty was before I told them, but they loved the match, and thought he was very good. Yes, the crowd was dead, and it could have been better, but the earlier was due to poor card placement(this was the main event?!), and the latter due to ring rust and a lack of chemistry. Also, was it just me, or was Ken Kennedy sandbagging a bit.
I really marked out when Marty hit the Rocker Dropper/Showstopper. If he'd have pinned Kennedy there, he may have won. But, he went for the fist drop and took 7526834 years to climb the turnbuckle. Oh well. I'd love to see him stick around, even if it were like his 1998 WCW Jobber to the Stars stint, where he never beat anyone higher on the card than Lenny Lane. I could definately go for Jannetty beating, say, a returning Scotty 2 Hottie regularly.

It wasn't a 'terrible match.' Marty surely doesn't wrestle regularly and is surely not as capable as he was from 1987-1993. Plus, Kennedy has really not proven himself capable of carrying other wrestlers to a good match yet. I just don't see how someone could have expected more from that match. It was a decent outing for Marty.

I thought the match was decent, no where as good as Angle/Janetty. Also the lackluster ending out of no where with one of Kennedy's 1,000 finishers. Kinda ended it on a bad note.

Jannetty performed OK, but he did look ridiculous wearing that cobbled together attire.

Back when the Rockers werebig, Marty was the driver and Shawn Micheals was in the passenger's seat. He got the hot tags after Shawn got his butt beat for 10 minutes.

I liked. Bad attire, and kennedy had no psychology in that match. Good chain wrestling.

Was I watching the same match? I thought he looked damn good out there. Yeah he's not flying as high as he once did, but neither is Shawn. Hell, even Jeff Hardy doesn't do as much as he did in his younger days. For what it was, I thought they put on one hell of a match. The part I do feel bad about was that Shawn saving Marty was completely overshadowed by an unnecessary DX re-pop. We just saw them together a few weeks ago, for pete's sake. Let Shawn and Marty stand side by side in "moral victory" one more time, eh? I agree with this. I'm a huge Marty Mark, mind you, but I thought he looked good for someone who doesn't get as much ring time as say, Kennedy. If anything, I think Kennedy should be the one blamed for the occasional awkward pacing of the match. Marty still has it, and with the right opponent, he can outshine lots of the guys on the roster.

Not a bad match, but really disappointing. They seemed to avoid every single spot they could which could have lead to something big. When Jannetty went for the punches in the corner I was sure they were going to repeat the powerbomb into a hurricanrana spot.

I didn't think it was really bad or anything. All things considered, it was a basic match.
I think that with a night like that, you really had to pale in comparison.
Kennedy, sucking in the ring? I guess my TVs tuned into a different Raw. I really don't smurfing see that.

I was definitely disappointed, because Marty could do better. When I saw Marty was going to be in a match, I was so pumped, because his last two outings with Shawn Michaels against La Resistence, and his match against Kurt Angle were amazing. But last night, it just didn't click.
