Because he's a prick and thinks the world owes him something.
Again, this is the guy who can't accept someone telling him "Hey, tweeting while announcing looks unprofessional, keep your eyes on the match" (although who the hell knows how TNA do their announcing nowadays), and then blocks a guy's Twitter and he has to make a new account because Twitter is useless in account recovery.
Like do Cole or King or JBL do that, tweet while commentating? I know there's been some stupid bits like them taking a selfie instead of calling a match, but they HAD to be reprimanded for that, right?

Then you missed a lot isince it states Billy is running the company while Dixie is a figurehead now. Ok im still trying to understand but hope she stays as a figurehead and not involved in the company. See, I'm trying to figure out how Dixie focusing "on long-term planning, strategic partnerships and global growth" means she'll be just a figure head. It sounds like the SAME DAMN SHIT she did as President, only now she has a different title. It's like they finally heard our logic that nobody will buy TNA as long as Dixie's president, only NOW the bargaining chip will be if Dixie's kept on as chairwoman instead!

What a sanctimonious little idiot this one is. There's not a part of this that makes me want to strangle him. But that could be the bias talking.

With everything pre-taped the way it is, there's no way they're going to be able to fill this show weekly with any of this nonsense.
They're just gonna go back to status quo and pretend nothing happened. Like any other time they're given a chance to shine and ignore it completely.
This company isn't attached to the words "wasted opportunity" for nothing.

So I bought a Chromecast device a few weeks back. I enjoy it for things like Netflix, Youtube and now Hulu Plus. And given how crap the Network is on the 360 I'd rather be able to do the same with that instead of having to go buy a Roku device or something similar since I've now put money into this. Of course, it doesn't seem to work in conjunction with Chromecast.
Any idea if they'll bring support to this down the line?

Someone on my friends list received 12 death threats from the same guy, screenshotted them, and reported him to Twitter. Their response was "He's not violating any rules, take it up with the authorities". With Twitter, it's less about what you said than it is about who you said it to. That was actually the whole point of the "Trust and Safety Council". To protect "preferred" users. And because Josh Matthews, with his verified account, blocked me, some nobody that has little to their name on social media or the internet, Twitter was SUPER quick to the punch and locked my account. No strikes or warnings or anything, nope, just lock my account and have me change my password through an email I can't access. He might "win" this, but it's not worth me trying to get 'revenge' on this or anything. Just watch him and the rest of the company self-implode.

To get your twitter locked you have to be a multiple offender. So what it probably was is a bunch of people who saw your tweet reporting you for trolling. Not saying you were or not, but all Josh said he did was block you From my understanding because Josh is also an 'authorized' account or whatever it means to have that blue checkmark next to your name, Twitter is a bit quicker on the offensive and lock the account immediately because of this. So my account's still there, I just can't USE it because of reasons previously explained. It's still petty in my eyes. And the dumbass is in CHARGE of digital media too, so you'd think he'd have a grasp on not acknowledging anything.

Yeah. True story. All I did was question why Josh was tweeting whilst commenting on matches. Then it turned into a thing. and then he locked and blocked my account. I'm not even kidding, he outright admits to doing it. twitter.com/realjoshmathews/status/750507704695873536Even worse? The Twitter was attached to an email I can't access anymore for various reasons, and there's no human support I can contact, and the only way I can change the password otherwise is through my phone, which doesn't even offer me the option for whatever reason. So of COURSE I had to create a whole new account. I knew Josh was a douchey douche before this, but I can't even believe how low he'd sink.

I don't think it would've lead to anything major, no, but I feel like if Raven had shown up on Impact during it's early Spike days it could've gotten a bit more attention and interest than "Oh, the guy that beat up women in WWE is a world champion? And he owns the company? That's great I guess, but where's WWE Velocity?"

I think I might have mentioned this elsewhere on the boards but Raven had potentil of being 'the guy' when TNA moved to Spike TV, given he was the champion during that hiatus after leaving Fox Sports Net. But then he loses the belt in another promotion and feuds with Larry Zybisko and blah blah blah and I hate my life.

Shamrock is the only one I disagree with. He only held the title for 49 days and left the company after losing the title to R-Truth. Even then, they were treating Jarrett as The Guy before he won his first nwa title. In his book about the formation of TNA, Jerry Jarrett implies that using Ken Shamrock as the guy was a complete panic maneuver. Don't get me wrong: he was always supposed to be in the "top tier," as Jerry puts it. But basing the promotion around him was pretty much a last minute decision. People ahead of Shamrock include, but are not limited to: Randy Savage (The Jarrett's first choice. Randy pulled out abruptly after he discovered that Jeff was friends with WWA promoter Andrew McManus.) Ultimate Warrior Mick Foley Sean Waltman Sting Scott Steiner Chyna Don Frye The Great Khali (Then unknown to US audiences; described as "a true giant of a man from India.") He almost immediately regretted his decision, writing that he should have put the title/focus on either Jeff or "The Truth" instead. AJ was indeed considered "the future," as was David Young. Man, when TNA's early days consist of wanting to put the belt on Chyna or Khali, that should just say everything about the future this company is about to have...

Always confused why they never had a tag team title run. I remember they won a contendership match once...and nothing came of it because they got released. For reasons.
My only guess is they were supposed to win them off of Edge and Jericho in 2009, but then Edge got injured and then we got Jerishow, and since they got some guys to sing a remix of their songs they stuck with them instead. Go figure.

Not bad. But let's see them try to do that "animated" opening that happened a bit later on.

I knew I was expecting stupid from the moment I pressed play, I just...I didn't realize how bad this could get.
From the sudden cut to what I assume is a backroom to TNA's warehouse to Silver Age Supervillain Matt Hardy's dialogue to the baby to the coffee table...I just...I can't comprehend what I watched!
And how much do you wanna bet this match doesn't actually end with them in the ring and instead somewhere outside of it?!

Tyrus Jay Bradley as Aiden O'Shea Ace Steel Micah Taryn Terrell Daivari Brooke Tessmacher I actually had to look up when Ace Steel was in WWE as I had no recollection of it. I can't believe he was that Donald Trump impersonator! I mean he did the same exact thing a few years back in that 'Trump' versus 'Rosie' match. Quite frankly I won't be surprised if it happens again, except against whoever earns the Dem-vote.

And that was, ironically, around the time Raven had his only NWA title run. And then, coincidentally, Jarrett won the belt from Raven JUUUUUUST before they aired on Spike to make sure Double J was champion in time, and nothing came from that "Guitar Shot Heard 'Round the World" except a pointless feud Raven had with Larry Nabisco. Surprisingly, I'm still bitter about that. They went back into what was default TNA mode before they made it back to air. AMW were tag champs AJ was X division Champ JJ was World Champ. AMW aside that just makes it even MORE frustrating! Especially since AJ was champ for a month before Raven won KOTM!

Unless I'm mistaken I think TNA was paying Fox for the spot. EDIT: According to Wikipedia, the contract between TNA and Fox Sports was not renegotiated in 2005. They were reduced to webcasts until Spike picked them up. The irony was that TNA was doing their best work when they were web based after the FoxSports.Net deal was over. Scott D'Amore had full control and Double J was out of the spotlight. Even guys like CM Punk were getting Conway Pops within the 2nd/3rd/4th/5th week on the job. Ah, let's not even kid ourselves here, Punk was getting pretty good reactions following the Hammerstein show.

WELL, considering I hear people say that TNA's best moment was the latter half of 2009 just before the Hogan era began, I can't say this argument has a leg to stand on.

This is me repeating barely remembered news I read back in the day, but as I recall, Jordan was pitching it in his later days in the WWE, along with bringing his then(still?) boyfriend on the road with him, and trying to pitch him as part of the gimmick, and it was starting to grate on everyone's nerves. Now, remember, I'm repeating what I think I read way back when, so that may or may not be accurate. He was, I also think the managers were dropped right away because Ric Flair scared the guy Orlando had away after a freak out and he berated the kid If I remember right I think it was because OJ's boyfriend at the time was being lewd in a bar by offering shots from his stomach and Ric got upset at how unprofessional it was. Pot calling kettle black? Yeah, probably.
