It's not illegal streaming. People who are saying that have no idea how small the actual sample size. More people DO find out about it more and more, but the actual group of people streaming a PPV is small. No more than 5-10k people.
It's the prices. There was a time when the price reflected the quality. You got better production, all of the best grudge matches, and pretty much everything really meaningful happened on PPV. If you MISSED a ppv, you were kicking yourself in the ass because you KNEW you missed something huge.
Now, and this is what WWE needs to understand, it's really easy to predict, and it's quite stale. A lot of people hated the hotshotting of titles and stuff during the Attitude era, and some of it was dumb, but a lot of it had meaning and precedence. When we see Cena win for the 12 time, it's like, why? People don't pay to see what they've seen 12 times. Really. I think it's that simple.
Once they put the effort into the writing, they'll see buys go up. There's a reason why MITB did so incredibly. Because for the first time in a long time, we were on our feet. We didn't know what was going to happen, and the status quo was knocked over by something fresh and exciting. When I was a kid, the Attitude era felt like that every time I watched wrestling, or a PPV. Now, however, that's gone. And it's not that I'm too smarky now. It's that there's no creativity anymore.

Hell, not to aggrandize myself, but I recommended him after you asked me. That's true. Yeah. I should clarify that Socko asked me and said that other people could get behind it. The only way I'll do it is if I have the rosters blessing.

I like that TV Title idea, but I think it should be done like in some indy feds, where after so many consecutive title defenses, the Champion gets shot at one of the other belts, and two new names face off for the TV Title. Just my opinion, of course. I like that. More. More brain storming, guys. What would you set the cap at, M?

I'm just talking about creatively. I don't want to sit around and make matches for people. I want to actively book people in the logical matches and continue feuds week in and week out, and I can't do that without what I think is an unprecedented amount of input from everyone else. I'm also tossing around the idea of a TV title that is defended on every single show. I wish that the CoH was like that, but I think for that's a belt that should be in this fed and isn't. The way it would work is that anybody who isn't in a feud for a title would be put on a list, and that list would rotate. No contenderships, no qualifications, but during Niteraws, some people on that list would be booked against each other, and a win or loss would make them swap places.
Evil M, I'm not even exactly sure what the job entails yet, but I'd appreciate some rope showing.

Guys... I might become head booker. I'd really like to take the opportunity to take some of the edge off of socko, and help him out, but I'm going to state right forward that if I DO this, I'm going to need you guys to really help me out. If you guys will rally around me, I'll take the job, and we'll get through this together while I settle in. Let me know what you all think.

All things considered, I'd say your character is probably my favorite right now. I think sometimes you rely a little too much on the gimmick, the idea of being the actual punisher, rather than developing yourself, but other than that, I really do enjoy it. I like what you did with your wife. I liked the promos where you were on the phone. It was all really creative, and it was all really awesome. I think, however, it's time to let a little bit more of his actual grit bleed in. If I were you, I'd establish myself more as a heel by beating people, and then chaining them to chairs and interrogating them for things that you want to know. (I.E. whatever side storyline your character wants information for.) It'd be awesome to see faces come in and make the save while you're threatening to light some guy on fire, or etc, etc. Just some ideas, but I really do like it so far. Cheers, if I'm honest I've tried to rein it in a bit, but I might let go a little bit more. I've sort of put the bit about Frank's wife to bed now, and just use her as a passing reference. Always grateful to hear what people think, so thank you. I just look at it like, as of right now, you have an actual stranglehold on this company. Your character should show that a little more. He should throw fits, he should attack people who don't deserve it. He knows he has a championship reign whenever he wants it. He knows he has ViVA Inc supporting him. He should be a little cockier, and a little angrier. Kind of like the shit you were doing when you first started, but now you have the ability to pick your spots and really make them send shockwaves.

Amigo, Vokoun, if you want anything in our match, just drop me a PM. And Viva, given his obvious attributes, I'd like to know what you think of my character? Everyone's probably sitting here and thinking the same thing.
"You got Amigo double booked so you'd have a shot at the World Championship!"
"You're a coward, ViVA! Low life scum!"
"Did you hear about Van Agony? He's too much of a pussy to fight Amigo fairly!"
It has no merit. I made my plans weeks before the Majority Shareholder guy booked us to fight each other. And this is what I'm talking about. You heard it in his promo. He thinks he's doing us a solid, booking us in a match that is already marred with controversy. It's a blatant and disgusting attempt to plant the seeds of distension within a group that has done nothing wrong.
I've had enough. This isn't some group of anarchists. All hell hasn't broken loose. We've been quietly protesting our right to a fair shot at titles, and we've been proving ourselves in the ring, like men. Still, those WWCF purists want to fear us just because we have a gang mentality. Well, we've watched the rich get richer long enough. We've watched stars who already peaked step on our heads to have another couple seconds of limelight, and it ends now.
Majority Shareholder, you can book us anywhere you want, at any time. At the end of the day, we decide if we'll be fighting. Me and Amigo? Yeah, we're going to battle it out. Not because you told us to, but because if we win that belt, it'll never fall in the hands of a WWCF superstar again.
Amigo, I'm sorry you're going to have to fight me at less than 100%. Unfortunately, I respect you too much to come in at anything less. Good luck.

what do you think of my character ViVA cause I think that Dupoes gonna end up being a broken record real quick if I don't get some advice I think you're headed in the right direction. I mean, you've got the blind faith angle played to a tee right now. What I think you need to do is pull out a couple of wins via your gimmick alone. You need to get over the idea that you'll be able to tap into that faith if you've got your back up against the wall, and pull out wins because of it. People need to constantly push you to the limits, and then you've got to show us the merits of that blind faith you have. Then, after you've shown us, I wouldn't mention it other than in passing. I'd make sure people know I had it, but I wouldn't go around lampooning it, otherwise, you're right, it will become a broken record. It's creative though. And I kinda dig it.

Well, he lacks the walk, because he never wins anything important without a tag partner. I try, but it's like trying to race with one leg gone. I don't really wnat to be a chickens***, though. I try to be actually badass, but it's the chains of others that holds that idea down. And that's where you writing/suggesting spots come in. You don't HAVE to be held down by the chains of others. You can make sure you get your goody in. You can take losses, but they can't be BAD losses. Or you're just going to tread water.

Viva, tell me, what do you I should do to become better? I think, and this is, you know, just my opinion, but your character, more or less, has been the same guy since day one. Really, really nasty bark, but I haven't seen you take a bite out of anyone at all. He's become quintessentially about talking the talk, not walking the walk. Which is okay, and I think standard heel protocol. Somewhere along the lines, though, voters stopped taking your character as a threat, and started seeing him as more of a step to bigger things for other characters. Again, standard heel protocol, but obviously you don't feel you're winning enough. And to that, I say, become more involved in writing your matches. Write them entirely, or talk to whoever is writing them and tell them spots that you really want in the match to get your character over as a tough as nails asshole. And, really, for your character, I think playing the chickenshit asshole would do wonders. And by that I mean, run from fights when you aren't ready to fight them, and cheat, use any means necessary, to come out of that ring with a W. There's a balance there. You have power moves, and you're clearly an excellent competitor. I just think with your characters attitude, the best way to go about it is to play up to the, "I don't feel like I should be giving my best if I don't really need to give my best to beat you people." persona, while raking the eyes, low blowing, back raking, and using weapons to prove that point. Just my two cents though.

I'll say this.
Sometimes I'm honest. Probably too honest.
Sometimes I'm sarcastic as f***.
But I do like and respect everyone here. I'm just going to tell you how I feel about your character, as I'd expect you all to do the same. Colt called me a CM Punk ripoff, and essentially, he's right on the button. His character, or at least, what his character was 8 weeks ago, really spoke to me, and I liked it. So I lifted a lot from it.
I don't think I'm as punkish now, but I certainly was when he called me out for it.
If I say something to you, don't take it personal. It never is. I promise you. I'm not really an asshole, or a bad guy. I'd just want the same from all of you.
Seth, your character got really stale for me, and you were seriously difficult to promo against because at the end of the day, he was really stubborn and unwilling to either learn from his mistakes or admit his faults. I don't think you should quit, and I think if you actually took a step back to look at why you started losing steam, you'll see it coincided with your promos becoming little more than bickerfests with nearly everyone who you promoed with. It's very, very hard as a heal to fight someone who considers themselves a face, but consistently lifts from the heels playbook, and is normally booked as 'in the right.'
In fact, that's a problem going on in real wrestling right now, with Cena. The guy gets cheered for being a giant asshole. Thing is, he's portrayed as a good guy. He's telling people to stop bullying while he bullies people.
In the end, this incarnation of Seth Drakin became a hypocrite to me, and I'm sure to a few others. As more and more people began calling you out for your actions in promos, you began to lose steam.
I think you can get that steam back, but you're going to have to not reinvent your character, but give him a bit more depth. Personal depth. I for one would have marked the f*** out if Seth Drakin was in a match, and someone interfered with it, and he ignored them and instead got the win. Small things that show you're growing as a wrestler, instead of blaming everyone else for your losses and demanding a rematch.
I hope you reconsider, but at the end of the day, if you're losing steam with it, you're losing steam with it. That's all I really had to say on the matter.

While 2 are leaving, I will say this CageKing is back baby! Now, what storylines are open for me to jump into? Honestly? I wouldn't work with you. You come and go like clockwork. If you're going to legit stick around this time, instead of throwing your hat in and then leaving after taking a couple losses, I'd probably job to you. But since I don't think you'd do that, I don't really wanna work with you. Same thing that happened with Koda. I got into programs with him on 3 separate occasions and he left in the middle of every single one. I guess what I'm trying to say is think about whoever you'll be working with. Getting abandoned in the middle of a storyline SUCKS, and it's really difficult to rebound from. With all that being said though, I really do like your character, and would actually really like it if you stuck around and fleshed him out a bit more.

Honestly, you keep telling me what to do with my luck. Who are you? My accountant? And more importantly, what the f*** are you going to do about it? That's my problem with you. You narrowly escape my grasps and you act like you've accomplished something. Just wait until both of us are in that ring together. You'll have a hard time running from that, you little pussy. Running is something I have no interest in. And belittling me only lowers that interest. You sure ran after your match last week, Gussy. If you're game, I'm game. Let's rock this bitch.

What a load. You don't get a body like that without hard work and determination. Pretty easy for you to say that s*** from your desk chair. I was referring more to the work (or lack thereof) he put into WWE, not on himself. But let's assume I was compairing my body to his because troll logic seems to be in spades today. Even in the WWE, he put the work in. Just because you didn't like him, or the rate of his push, doesn't mean otherwise. You know, unless, just because you said it, makes it true. And don't call me a troll when you sit there and blurt out overarching opinions with zero evidence. I realize you're allowed to state your opinion. Don't expect it not to be met with a conflicting one. If I wanted to troll you, I'd have been a hell of a lot harsher.

Bobby Lashley was an overpushed douchebag who wanted the World delivered to him on a gold platter and doesn't even know what hard work means. Miz is not. What a load. You don't get a body like that without hard work and determination. Pretty easy for you to say that shit from your desk chair.
