As I recall, quite some time after getting banned we found out the I hate Hawaii guy kept hating Hawaii. There were posts in Reddit of him ranting about his hate.
And was RealTalk the guy who was obsessed with this female friend of his and didn't like the "gay looking" Asian guy that hung out with said female friend?

Personally, I kinda preferred her earlier Vtuber songs before the albums were made so I stopped paying much attention aside from a few let's plays.
Did look around to see what was happening since it became a topic of discussion from the fandom. On the countdown to the album being released, she mentioned her intent with the lyrics. Honestly, music-wise this isn't really my genre so I don't have an opinion on that regard.
Now as for content, for me I'd be leaning on some caution from here on out from her more or less. Didn't really follow her career before her hololive days, but do know enough that there's some red flags. She did it before she was 17, same time she didn't really apologize. That's as far as I know. Don't think that there was anything else in between that and what has gone on.
That's just my two cents on the matter regarding this. As a VTuber watcher, my interests went towards other VTubers after a while, so again my knowledge regarding Calli and any other controversy surrounding her is not a lot. Just settling on caution unless another controversy happens past this.

My opinion is this. When it was locked, I was open to unlocking it after a while, and would suggest that if the thread messes up again would go with the nastier option of permanently sealing it on the deleted section or just outright deleting it. So reopen it with strict rules.
But as the days went by I'm frankly okay with keeping it as it is, locked. Sure, you can argue that it's a, as some people say, a historic moment. I'd say it is, and people would argue if other moments were as historic and so and so, but as other moments go it has run its course. A lot of focus on the scrum itself, and afterwards its memes, talking about post milestones, and other silly stuff as people wait for the next news.
Like... the horse ain't dead, but there's certainly effort in beating it to death.
The memes came, just use it elsewhere when it's relevant. News comes by make a thread. Nothing wrong with necroing a thread if there's something relevant. Frankly I'm becoming less and less keen with the idea of keep it open and we'll behave. Often someone does a take and people will pile on it instead of, you know, ignoring said post.
As someone who posted on it fairly often for a bit, sad to say, but I feel that the scrum has done its job.

So, my first cat dragged in the second cat a year ago, and second cat dragged in a third cat.
First cat is aloof and will run away if I go near him. Second cat will scratch if I try to pat her.
The third cat is affectionate. She sits on my lap, cuddles, never draws out her claws and will playfully munch but never draws blood. Named her Boop. She's a soft baby. Also love the other two cats, but Boop doesn't scar my hands.

The media scrums do have a bit of an informal vibe. It might be worth getting someone to act as an MC and host, regardless of the chances of this happening again. Tasers or cattle prods. Once someone starts munching on muffins, ZAP and problem solved. |

Well did you ever see Mei Suruga hold a green apple or wear green?! I will give you green apple are tastier. Petition to make her wear green. It'll be like Kane and DX, but hopefully for real. Don't remember having green apple as it is, but I do like them on shakes and other drinks. Tied with lychee as my favorite drinks. Speaking of apples, some of the markets here are selling strawberry apples. I look at the price tag and like hell no. I'll stick to the usual Fuji apples sold here thank you very much. |

It's a situation, definitely. So far, Punk is still in the company. Apparently not happy with Colt being back from what I've read here. The Elite trying to rub salt in the wound won't really be helpful if AEW's aim is to get rid of him.
...I would chuckle slightly, but at the same time it's not helpful. Elite's gptta be EVP's about it, more than ever.

To an extent, I can believe that Tony Khan lost control and fumbled and shut down during the tirade. Same time he messed up big time which led to this "fun" mess. Important thing at this point is how he handles thing moving forward, I think. It's worth keeping in mind that some people just do not have the force of personality to keep trying to wrest control of a situation from someone who has cut them off repeatedly. He tried to stop it, he got shut down by a much stronger personality. Even divorcing the issues of trust or their personal and business relationships, that can be tough. Hopefully he learns and hopefully he can put his foot down next time, that's something you can absolutely learn how to do and be better about. But being a deer in the headlights isn't exactly uncommon in a situation like this. And personally that's understandable. Have been in the middle of arguments acting as an impromptu mediator, or had to talk to someone in a bad situation. That stuff is hard. Now, as the head of a big company, you'd want to expect Khan to hash it out quick, but alas it didn't. All one can hope for it that he'd do better next time when such a thing happens one way or another. That's his, as the hip kids say, is his L in that moment. |
