I’d absolutely file Bray’s as something different, that was budget cutting. Who’s the last cat who got shitcanned due to a behaviour issue? Ain't that changing the parameters of the question? It’s kind of splitting hairs but I’d imagine they’d consider the “budget cuts” more of layoffs than firings. |

It sucked, the cgi was awful. My wife goes this is their Love and Thunder at one point Even Love & Thunder had the excuse of being Taika Watiti’s “Ok, Ragnarok was a huge hit, What We Do In The Shadows turned into a fantastic show, you won an Oscar, you’ve done some other stuff….just do whatever the f*** your want with this one” movie. And they could still turn around and say “Yeah ok, it was awful but it made a whole lot more than Babylon didn’t it? Another win for our machine!” The DC movies are actively trying to make money and set up a new vision for their universe and be good and still just failing horribly. It’s almost impressive at this point. PS- Babylon, Damien Chazelle’s “do whatever the f*** you want” movie, is a big wild mess of a movie that is 700x more entertaining to watch than Love & Thunder. Give it a try sometime! |

The World’s Greatest Wrestling Managers was my favorite because some of the clips were about as close to hearing Vince McMahon sound like an actual person that you’ll ever get. Speaking warmly of Arnold Skaaland and Bobby Heenan, describing how much he admired Sherri Martel, it’s just a side you never see of Vince.
That set of the first 2 “seasons” (93/94) of Monday Night Raw has some real gems on it. Shame it didn’t sell well enough for more.

In the end, Nikki Bella. In their second run, she really had the look and ring style to create a great “arrogant alpha woman” character. And despite the desires of many a FAN poster, the Bellas were massively over in that second run.

I haven’t cared for scores of wrestlers over the years but I’ve truly despised very few. Wolfpack Konnan is in the like the top 3 wrestlers I wanted to wish into the cornfield. So goddamn stupid.

The Rockers vs. Haku & The Barbarian at WrestleMania VII. You can pretty much say “The Rockers at Wrestlemania” because their match at V vs The Twin Towers is great “monsters vs flyers” tag bout. Speaking of the Bossman, he has a real solid hoss fight with Hacksaw Duggan at the 1990 Rumble. Just a straight-up brawl with the crowd into every punch thrown. |

I mean...look at Santino. Dude took a gimmick that absolutely should have been D.O.A and he turned it into a 7 or 8 year run where he was consistently on TV, had several midcard titles and a tag title reign mixed in. Does he do any of that if he comes up as Boris Alexiev? Not everyone can be a main event guy. There's always room for a Santino type and as others have pointed out, such a role can be something you make a living off of for years and years to come That Royal Rumble where he was in the final 2 was so well done to the point where, watching it live, I actually thought they might put him over. I will go to my grave arguing they should have called an audible and had Santino win that night. Have ADR get the title shot back any time in the next 2 months, who cares….but they booked that ending SO perfectly until ADR ended up winning anyways. |
