Really enjoyed it with the exception of 1 pivotal moment. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}When Quill gets "frozen" in space but yet ends up surviving is complete and utter bullshit and IMO basically shits on Yondu's death absoloutley hated this. {Spoiler}I mean, Quill is part Celestial, Yondu isn't. It should give Peter a little more durability in space then most.

Look, I know I'm coming at this as an American, but I'm watching the highlights on CNN and it's just so surreal. The women are dressed like Jackie Kennedy, the men are dressed like they're going to war with Napoleon, they're performing a Medieval ceremony that feels like it was created for a 1970's episode of Doctor Who, and the British press are gushing over this like it's the Moon Landing. I feel kinda embarrassed for the country.

Never really care about Free Comic Book Day for the actual free comics, but the sales LCSs usually have. This year? Only a couple of stores are actually doing FCBD, and if they're running sales, they haven't advertised them on any of their socials. So I'm skipping out this year. I forgot all about Free Comic Book Day this year. The movie theater I was at this morning is right next door to a comic book store and I didn't even think of going in.

It sounds weird but in don't know that I want to see it. Its like if I see it, it's done, the series is over but if I don't I can always think it's going to go on some how. Plus I'm in such a depression I don't know I want a downer liker that.

Just got back from the theater. Couple minor nitpicks, it was a bit gorier then it needed to be at times, but otherwise a really awesome movie that I really enjoyed. Plus... {Spoiler}The REAL Captain Marvel is here! Finally get Phyla-Vell in the MCU! Really hope she resurfaces in a future movie. I certainly wouldn't be against a cameo in The Marvels.

41. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022) 42. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)Just got back from the theaters. Couple of very minor nitpicks, but an otherwise awesome movie that hits all the right feels. Plus I finally got the debut of a character I've been wanting to see in the MCU for awhile. I won't spoil and say who, but I really hope they turn up again.

When I was a teenager in the 90's I got a bunch of ECW VHS tapes for Christmas. Later that Christmas day a bunch of aunts, uncles and cousins came over for the holiday dinner thing and took over the living room. My parents bedroom was the only other room in the house with a VCR so I went in there to watch some of the tapes. I guess I nodded off doing so because the next thing I know I'm being shocked awake by my Aunt who walked into the bedroom practically screaming "what are you watching?". I look at the television and it's Beulah McGillicutty sauntering around the ring in a skimpy outfit before getting clotheslined by Bill Alfonso. Now the rest of the house thinks I'm watching some kind of weird porn and I swear the last thing I remember seeing was Rey Misterio vs. Psichosis.

Bosom Buddies, with Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari, only went two seasons with 37 episodes, yet somehow could usually be found in syndicated reruns on over-the-air television well into the early 2000's. Yeah, sometimes you'd have to go hunting for it at ridiculous hours of the morning, but the fact that it was airing anywhere outside of a novelty cable channel after like 1983 is amazing.
On a similar note, It's a Living was a very 80's sitcom best known for its many cast changes and successful revival in first-run syndication years after its initial cancellation by ABC. Despite the fact that, by all rights, it should've been forgotten about the second 1989 ended, reruns of the show somehow became a staple on daytime television (at least where I grew up) throughout the 90's.
Wings was a solid workhorse sitcom during NBC's Must See TV Thursday block back in the 90's, but it was never the mega hit the shows airing around it were (Cosby Show, Cheers, Seinfeld, Friends, even Mad About You). Yet when USA Network acquired its rerun rights, it seemed to make up like a solid third of the cable channel's daily schedule well into the 2000's.

I mean, the problem with what you're asking is the WWF during that time period was as much about the build as they were about the moments. I mean, how can you truly appreciate Randy Savage's World Title win at WM4 without watching him hit his lowest losing the IC Title to Ricky Steamboat at WM3 and then crawling his way back up to even greater heights over the next year, winning the respect of the fans and his former enemies in the process? And the stories for the Ultimate Warrior and Bret Hart's are similar as well, the importance of their title wins just doesn't happen in a vacuum of one night. Even Hogan vs. Andre at WM3, probably the biggest moment in pro wrestling history (and to anybody who disagrees I will fight you to the death over this), doesn't have the same impact without knowing about their history dating all the way back to Hogan's debut in 1984. WWF at the time was very much about the journey more then the destination. Like I said above, I'll use old Observers (and listen podcasts of the shows that I do watch) as my weekly dose of tidbit information. Alright, but at the very least I'd recommend watching all the PPV's during that time period as well as all the Saturday Night's Main Events.

WWF from 1987 to 1994? Dude, just start at the beginning and watch everything chronologically. I know that sounds daunting, but narrowing down that time period in the WWF to anything else is just doing it a wild injustice. I do understand there is a huge evolution happening with the said timeline. Saw it w/ WCW's high fliers for example. I guess I want to just hear some milestones and your fave moments, so I remember to pay attention to 'em better when I happen to see 'em! That's just how my brain works. 🤔 I mean, the problem with what you're asking is the WWF during that time period was as much about the build as they were about the moments. I always thought the Headbangers could've been what the Hardy Boys eventually became if the WWF had just gotten behind them more.
Stevie Richards is someone I really thought could've main evented PPV's, but never really got there for a variety of reasons.
I'll second on Crush. I will argue until the end that he should've gotten the big main event babyface push against Yokozuna in the Summer of 93 instead of Lex Luger.

I don't understand why Russo can't just say something like "look, things in WCW were going south fast, so I did something crazy to try to get some eyes on the product. It didn't work out, live and learn". I would absolutely 100% respect this answer. Dusty Rhodes was pro wrestling patron saint of bad booking before Russo came along, but, outside some joke segments, Dusty never got hung-up on his failed ideas and constantly argued about his responsibility for their failure to anybody who would listen. I never heard him say "'lissen Daddy, Da Shockmasta coulda bin the bigges' thang WCW eva saw if they would have only let me run the storyline to its logical conclusion, bro."

Hey Jim you ever gonna finish the All Star batman issues you got paid for and never did? I don't buy for one second that Jim Lee is the issue with this. Frank Miller flaked out, and to protect what's left of his reputation Jim Lee took the blame for it. In exchange for falling on his sword Lee is now President of DC Comics. It all makes way too much sense.

Yeah, where can we watch these episodes by the way? I went to J! Archive site and I don't see anything that lets you actually watch video of any episode, let alone those. Now that I look further, it's one of those deals where someone has the tapes but hasn't put anything out there. Dude, I don't want to rag on you, but this saga is only getting more underwhelming with each turn.

Wait, that's it? All that drama and vitriol and all we get is that she was a Karen who may have been on another game show within a five year period?

On the Channel Awesome stuff it feels like the real unsung person who paid for that whole thing is Brad Jones. His videos usually barely get any views at all these days, with a very clear pattern since it happened of him just desperately trying new formats to try to find a new audience and none of it working, and he makes a fraction of the money people like Phelous and Todd do on Patreon. Just feels like he completely fell off from really being on anyone's radar in any meaningful capacity. And it sucks since I used to watch his stuff pretty religiously and he was often a go-to for when I needed something for noise but he kind of just showed his ass so thoroughly during that whole thing that I haven't watched him in years and have no real desire to ever again. Though he also scammed me once on a Kickstarter so that's fun. Him publicly blaming Allison Pregler for sending the cops after him at his Father-in-Law's funeral was the turning point for him. Seemed most people were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt through the whole "Change the Channel" stuff, but after the swatting accusations happened I think most people just decided they were done with the guy. I know I personally ended my Patreon support for him (it was only $2, but whatever), unsubscribed to his YouTube channel and just stopped watching any of his videos.

38. Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)39. Alien From L.A. (1988) 40. The 27th Day (1957) 41. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022)Latest arrival from Netflix. It's also the first one in awhile that's not a Sony DVD so I didn't have to sit through fifteen minutes of previews before the movie started. Small victories I guess. My only real complaint with this was that it was like 10-15 minutes too long. You're really telling me they couldn't cut a good chunk of that wedding in Hawaii stuff? Other then that a really fun movie with Jim Carrey stealing every scene he's in.
