Yeah, I'm at work in Midtown right now, it's looking more and more like The Mist outside.

Looking over who was on the Florida roster at the time of her conception, there's a real chance that her father was a Bushwhacker. That would explain a lot.

Also, Patrick Stewart's natural accent has a lot more Yorkshire in it than the voice he uses on camera. It's definitely faded over the decades, but it's still noticeable on the rare occasion you get to hear him talk informally. In the TNG vein, the first time I ever heard Marina Sirtis talk out of character she sounded less like the cultured Troi or even Demona, and much more like someone who would get into barfights on a regular basis.

I've only been to one once. A few years back I was visiting Springfield, Illinois the weekend Independence Day Resurgence opened and they had a drive-in playing it so I figured I'd check it out. In hindsight I wish I had seen a better movie, but it was a fun experience over-all. Drive in theatres is something the world if familar with due to American pop culture but how do they work in reality? How does the sound work? Are there giant speakers blasting the soundtrack? I see on some TV shows people would tune their radio in but would that not drain your battery? Traditionally each spot at the drive-in would have a small speaker you'd attach to your cars window, although most modern ones use the radio. If you put your car in accessory mode then the two hours or so of the movie should not be long enough to drain the battery, although the one drive-in I've been to said they did have people available with jumper cables to help if it did. And when the movie is over, is it not a nightmare getting out? Yes Also can you see much of the screen sitting in the back seat? Or are you too busy getting off with a lass? I mean, there are a whole host of ergonomic factors that go into answering this question. Also, don't call a girl a "lass", it's outdated and offensive. The proper term is "broad".

Reviews coming in 64% on RT Definite drop from Bumblebee, but if it holds it would be a solid number two for the franchise.

54. Satan's School for Girls (1973) 55. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023) 56. Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023)Latest arrival from Netflix. Man I loved the first movie and I was really hoping for the Monster Society of Evil here. Instead I get Helen Mirren. Much like Black Adam, this wasn't really a bad superhero movie, just a really uninspired one. All the goofy charm of the first movie was gone and replaced with people making bad decisions and being obnoxious. Oh, and just enough pointless civilian deaths to remind you that, why yes, this does take place in the same universe as Man of Steel. Also, gotta ask, the actress playing Mary Marvel, were those real? Or was her outfit just really padded? Because if they were real, then they're really impressive. I hope we see more of her in the future. Take that as you may.

I remember Todd in the Shadows once saying he gets a lot of requests to do a One Hit Wonderland video for Fastball's "The Way", completely ignoring they had other rather sizable hits with "Out of My Head" and "You're an Ocean".

Been watching it on YouTube on and off for the last few months. Up to the "What Up with Alex?" arc. Fun nostalgia trip.

Whenever I think of the Big Green WWF Championship Belt I always think of Bob Backlund.
I've always associated the "Goose Belt" (I know it's supposed to be an eagle with two guys wrestling on top of it, but from a distance it looks likes a goose) with "Superstar" Billy Graham.

54. Satan's School for Girls (1973) 55. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)Just got back from the theaters. I think there were more people at this then at GotG3, and this one had a lot more children. So my two biggest issues with the movie are, one, it ended on a "to be continued". I hate it when movies do that. Sequel hooks are one thing, but your story should be told when the credits roll. Second is that it was a very slow build. Like it felt like it was more then an hour in before the movie really started going. Normally that would be a huge red flag for me, but the stuff they were building in that first hour was really well done and entertaining so I'm giving it a pass on that. Besides these two issues though it was a really great movie and I loved all the little Easter Eggs throughout. Definitely gonna be there for the third one.

So does this mean it's all vaulted like the Batgirl movie and can never be re-released officially anywhere?

I know I'm probably gonna get chewed out for this, but it seems to me that AEW's attempt to revive ROH is running into the same problem that the WWE had when they attempted to revive ECW - if the fanbase was actually there for a successful revival then the company wouldn't have closed up in the first place. It's not like there's a large swath of former ROH fans out there looking for something to replace their old promotion. AEW has already supplanted the hardcore indie fanbase that used to be ROH's niche. Just incorporate the talents into your roster, there's nothing to gain from keeping the ROH name alive. the old one only shuttered because Sinclair basically did everything wrong and lost a shitload of money during the pandemic. RoH itself was fine. The issue is that... Tony hasn't done anything to make RoH important. Tony needs to hire someone to run it so they can focus SOLELY on Ring of Honor and also find a better way to get it out there. Fine? Yeah, and ECW folded because TNN wouldn't advertise them. And AWA folded because of an eminent domain lawsuit. And Mid-South folded because of the oil crisis. I really really REALLY don't want to defend Sinclair, but you know what they got ROH? A stable syndicated television show. Regular live PPVs. A show at Madison Square Garden! ROH had been bleeding attendance figures ever since that disastrous MSG show. They might have been able to weather the pandemic better if they didn't already see their business tank under World Champion Matt Taven. They had long since been replaced in the pro wrestling industry by AEW. Their role as an alternative to the WWE, their niche among hardcore fans, is everything AEW is doing just on a much bigger scale. The reason why Tony hasn't done anything to make them seem important is because they're not important, not anymore. If Tony wants to honor ROH as the company that had to walk before AEW could run, that's fine. Showcase it's tape library, use its history to tell your stories. But ROH's time in the sun has long passed and its corpse needs to stay buried before it starts to stink.

52. The Concorde... Airport '79 (1979) 53. Creed III (2023) 54. Satan's School for Girls (1973)And another 70's TV movie. This one has some notoriety and something of a cult following. For those not familiar, after Elizabeth's sister is the victim of a suspicious suicide, Elizabeth infiltrates her sister's former girl's "academy" to find out what happened. There she discovers one of the Professors is actually Satan and the girls there are members of his cult. Seriously, how old are these girls supposed to be? Is this "academy" a high school? A college? Something else? They all look like they're in their 20's, but they're treated like their schoolchildren, while at the same time nobody seems to bat an eye at them attending wine parties alongside their professors. Despite some stilted acting and a pretty boring middle stretch, the movie's ok over-all.

Probably safe to assume he wants to move away from Himbo Thor. So he's probably not interested in my "A Night at the Roxbury"-inspired Thor/Hercules team-up movie?

Julius is that dude. Just find better gear and lose that stupid double kneepad he only wears on one knee. I love both brothers hilarious anti-acting abilities. I don't understand why they didn't win the Tag Titles at Battleground. It doesn't even look like they're getting called up or anything. I'm assuming they're building up to a big title match between Gallus and Tony and Stacks. And while I like the Creeds, I honestly think Tony and Stacks deserve the belts more right now. I just hope it doesn't end with Gallus going over again.

... Why are they announcing this in May? Probably with the reasoning of "These will be in stores by like September, let's give people a chance to get excited about it." There really are people who get pretty jazzed about cereal news, and while the Monster Cereals would really make people happy by returning to their old oat cereal instead of the current corn-based cereal, a second complaint was stagnation, with them not really doing anything new in a while. Last year, they did fruit snacks, so that was something, but a new addition to their "family" is probably a bigger shakeup. I mean, I suppose you're right. It still feels really early for a Halloween-themed seasonal product like this. I would think the most optimal time to make the announcement to get the most hype out of it would be right before it ships, which, as you said, probably won't be until like September. Keep it fresh in the mind and all that.
