I only watched him in To Boldly Flee, and I thought he was pretty funny. It's terrible that his wife had to experience it like that. I wish mental illness, like depression was more widely understood and embraced by society. A lot of people are suffering from various forms of it and don't know how or feel ashamed to seek help. R.I.P. The day we as a society treat mental illness and disability with as much understanding and empathy as physical illness and disability is the day we become a better people.

Horrible thing to do to his wife. I understand depression, and it's awful that he got to that point, but he still chose to make her go through this the rest of her days. RIP to him, sympathy to her. Unless I'm missing something, it's not as if he said "hey, honey, I'm going to kill myself. Want to stand outside the door and listen?" I've never been depressed so there's only so much I can say, but perhaps if he had suicidal tendencies before and he went and locked himself in the bathroom, she followed him to try and talk him off the ledge, so to speak. It's still awful that he killed himself, but I doubt he was trying to hurt his wife on purpose. RIP, brother. I can't say I ever watched any of his videos, but depression is a terrible, terrible thing and it shouldn't happen to anybody. It's a shame it does.

Reading through NFL threads on reddit right now and the way both fan bases are going after each other you'd think they were still heated division rivals. Denver fan says this and the Seattle fan tells him why he is 100% wrong, and then the Seattle fan says something and the Denver fan discredits it and tells him why he is 100% wrong.
I suppose that's to be expected when you get down to just two teams, but you'd think there was a bitter rivalry between the two teams the way fans are going after each other. Pretty heated shit.

So, you guys watching the Pro Bowl tomorrow? I might watch a little of it because the fantasy draft idea is cool, but I'm more interested in The Grammys.

This is really getting on my nerves, so I'm hoping it's happening to somebody else so I can fix it.
Basically, if I have YouTube open and I'm loading a page in another tab, unless I'm on the YouTube tab, the audio sputters like crazy until the other page is completely loaded in. I had thought it was AVG giving me problems, but I disabled AVG and it still does it.
It's very, very annoying and very weird considering it doesn't do it if I'm on the YouTube tab. Has anybody else ran into this problem, and if so what did you do to fix it?

As an English teacher it greatly irritates me that they are calling him Frankenstein... He's the monster! Not the doctor!I, Frankenstein Monster doesn't roll off the tongue in the same way, though; it also sounds very caveman-esque.

All I know about this film is they made Aaron Eckhart look a lot like the lead singer from Motionless in White.

The gameplan against Peyton is always get to him before the receivers get open, and usually it's the latter portion that fails because he's so damn good at getting the ball to his receivers so fast. There's almost no one in the league that can get to him before he sees someone, because in this league, no matter how good the secondary is, receivers will get open with enough time due to the bias against defenses. Seattle's secondary is great, but the Broncos line have done a great job to give Peyton enough time to see the open receiver, and no one is as good at seeing and hitting that receiver as he is. I think it just comes down to how well they handle Seattle's good but fairly unimaginative rushing attack. Seattle hasn't played many trucks with formation, and when he's not pressured, it's never wise to bet against Peyton. When the news came in that Clady would be out all season long, I was really worried for Peyton, but the O-line has been really good all season long at keeping him upright. I really hope they keep it up, because if it's one game that you don't want to start sucking, it's the biggest one of them all.

Denver's success comes down to the run game, pure and simple. There's not going to be any mismatch advantage for Denver. As good as their receiving corps is, Seattle's secondary is just as good, if not better. They've got too much depth there to rely on any Erik Decker vs. Duron Harmon/Logan Ryan situations like they did against New England. But if they can run the ball well enough to force Seattle to bring up Thomas or Chancellor, then they'll be able to stretch the secondary and create those mismatches. It all comes down to Denver's backs beating the Seattle front-seven. Agreed. I still believe that Welker will be our wideout with the most success, but our O vs. their D is matched so well that I don't foresee a 400 yard game from Peyton again.

Reading through a thread on a Broncos forum in which a Denver fan thinks the Broncos will use a lot of bunch formations to try and trick the LoB. The Seattle fan that's in there agrees, but what do you guys think?
I can see it, I suppose. Denver's got to try to use some trickery, which is why I fully expect to see a lot of screen passes to DeMaryius.

Question for Orange: who was the MVBNNPM? (Most Valuable Bronco Not Named Peyton Manning)? Oh, wow. That's a toughie, as there are a lot of valuable players, but I'm going to cheat and do one for offense and one for defense. Offense: Knowshon Moreno. As great and valuable as the receiving core and the O-line have been at giving Peyton targets and keeping him upright, Moreno's sudden emergence after years of mediocrity has helped this team out so much. I don't know what the difference was this season, but he's turned into a beast that has helped out this offense tremendously. Defense: Terrence Knighton. After Miller went down the D lost a great pass rusher and run stuffer, but more importantly they lost a great on-field leader. Knighton has stepped up to become a leader on Defense, and his dominant play lately has given the D some credibility that they lacked earlier on in the season.

Very cool, ableit long as hell, article about the Broncos' receiving core and the matchup problems they present for defenses. nfl.si.com/2014/01/22/denver-broncos-wide-receivers-super-bowl-xlviii/Not even going to quote it because it's long, but it's broken up into sections talking about each receiver specifically. It details how they really help Peyton out and make his life easier than when he was in Indy and it was more or less entirely up to him.Is that his last year or his career he's talking about? Because if having Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Edgerrin James, and Dallas Clark all in their prime is having things be entirely up to you, I don't even wanna know what you'd say Tom Brady's situation was. Yeah, I'm really not sure. I think what the writer was getting at was that the formations now are so different that it's not entirely up to Peyton to decipher coverages, and the formations now are much more of a hindrance on defenses than Indy's formations were. I'm not entirely sure that it was necessarily comparing the talent between the two teams, as Peyton's always had great weapons to throw to.

If it was something created by record execs he would be way more popular. He'd be a Lady Gaga type. Also, a guy I know knows him and has for year, Andrew was the man who presided over his wedding. It is the same dude. That's kind of how I feel, as well. I mean, he's certainly well known and has his place within pop culture, but the way Twig Harper talked up the plan such a character would be playing arenas and stadiums. Very cool on Andrew presiding over that guy's wedding. As I said, I'm not super knowledgeable on him, but he's always seemed like a really cool dude.
