I don't like him now. If being a douchebag is "being himself" I really don't see me changing my tune. Here's hoping. There have been times in Pro Wrestling where that kind of cocky asshole would get over as a major face. For better or worse 2016 is not one of those times. These days, being the guy who would bully geeks and dorks in high school isn't as cool when more people embrace being geeks and dorks. |

I like Ryder fine, but was never super into him like alot of people. Never saw the major appeal. But Manias win was a real feel good moment and I was happy for him. His loss didn't upset me. I know "wait and see" is a dirty term around here, but I'll wait to see if they continue this feud, is kept in the upper midcards, or dropped again to decide if I think it was shitty booking.

They need a heel turn. Surely as part of the Roman Empire. That is a stable that could garner heat on a scale not seen before. In WWE16 I've had Usos, Reigns and Rikishi (as manager) wearing nice suits and labeled The Samoan Mafia. I'd love to see this happen IRL. Reigns/Joe feud, with Joe being an outsider. |

The only match that was 100% dissapointing was Ambrose/Lesnar. Nevermind anpther loss for Dean, but the match itself felt short and really dull and basic. They built up this intense, crazy match that might harken back to hardcore matches of old. And of course I didn't expect the chainsaw to get used, but Barbie was only teased and they never left ringside. Considering it was the match I was most looking forward to, it's the one I keep forgetting happened.

I've mellowed in my old age. 10 years ago, I'd be writing rage filled posts, threatening to quit watching, etc (hell, I did quit from 04 - 10 and so there's a chunk of WWE history I don't know much about). But now it's just a show, like any other. Sure, stuff happens that I don't like, but I also get enjoyment from it. I had fun watching it and I'll always want to see what happens next.

I also enjoyed myself. I was in good company who also had fun. The last hour was rough but only because it was getting late and someone I was driving home wasn't into it, so I got a little heavy in the room. But as far as the show itself, no complaints. I wish Shane won and I hope this isn't the last of him. And I loved Trips entrance. Steph was looking FINE and it was the kind of over the top, heavy metal shit I live for.
