When Nakamura won all the belts without even competing.

I'm afraid that Takeover might have ruined Mania for me. I'm watching tommarrow for the first time with a semifan (a friend whos watched the ppvs with me for the past several months) and 2 nonfans (our wives), and I'm starting to worry its going to embarrass me... maybe I should at least skip the Total Divas match...

Would it be a heel move to put Daniel Brian on the Concussion poster?

On one hand, I don't want anyone to get hurt. On the other, what's the point that people become so scared that wrestling begins to look too sterile.
I think chairshots to the head look sick and amazing when I watch old stuff and they can really nail the story that these opponants hate each other. That said I'm glad it's not a thing anymore because it's too dangerous. That said again, I'm now sock of chairs and don't care because there's no more variety to their use (unless you're Ambrose and Owens, bravo boys) and when one shows up you know its just the same shot to the back.

When it comes to good old fashioned heeling, the Revival gets it.

I watch wrestling on my laptop while playing the WWE video games, playing as I keep one eye on the show. From Zayn's entrance to the cut away after the match, game was paused and eyes glued. It was the match I was looking forward to and did not dissapoint.

Besides Bayley and Asuka, which I think will steal the show, I'm very excited for American Alpha and the Revival. I bet Gable is going to bump all over and Jordan is a monster. I can't wait to see if AA wins. Based on typical NXT tag title booking, the Revival will win then lose the belts on the next tapings to the Hype Bros.

So how many seconds did it take people reading this thread to realize if Ambrose was pushed the way Reigns is, he'd be outselling him in merch and ALSO not making the show look dumb with a bunch of face boos? I got it in about 2 seconds. Think WWE will figure it out by 2018? They'll figure it out like they did with Brian, when he's on the verge or retirement due to injury.

Samoa Joe's not a time traveler. That's a different indy darling. Daniel Brian: It all started when a time travel experiment I was conducting went... a little ka-ka. In the blink of a cosmic clock I went from indie darling to ring crew. Which could have been fun... if I knew how the ringside electronics work. Fortunately, I had help. An observer from the project named Arn. Unfortunately, Arn's a hologram, so all he can lend is moral support. Anyway, here I am. Bouncing around in WWE history, putting things right which once went wrong. A sort of time traveling Kalisto, with Arn as my Sin Cara. And I don't even need a mask. Oh boy.

I liked it. I recognize Limp Bizkit as some proto-Nickleback shit, but I LOVE WWE musical vignettes, and I only dig this song because of Mania 17, and personally it still holds up today in making a fun vid. I'm rooting for Trip though Reigns is a foregone conclusion, and I've had time enough to accept that so come Sunday, I'll be able to enjoy this match anyway. Ending aside, you know the match itself will probably be great.
Now, can someone do a My Sacrifice video for Lesnar/Ambrose?

I said in another thread that between Wrestlemania (which was the first in 15 years I was watching live, with friends as an event) and Takeover (watching the morning after, probably on my phone), I was still looking forward to NXT more.

Definitely on the negative side.
Even if Shane wins his match to usher in a face run era on Raw, and the obvious great match from Lesnar and Ambrose, no matter who wins the title match, people will be pissed. Petsonally, I'm pretty mellow, having come to terms that Roman will win, so who cares. But, if Trip wins, I'd be happy. It would be a total 180 from my expectations, plus I'd like to see Trip as champ under Shane's regime.

Wyatt got so bummed out about not being booked for Mania, his hair dreadlocked. Man, Rob Zombie needs to lay off those buckets of Captain Spauldings fried chicken.

I remember thinking it looked badass, only to watch it and find the badass scenes in the trailer were just 15 minutes worth of the movie and the rest being depressing and mean-spirited. One of the few times I was actually mad at a movie.

I've recently binged the Sailor Business podcast, watching the show along with them. And now I'm wondering if there are any other good 90s and prior anime based podcasts, or ones the focus on a specific show with a watch along aspect.
My hardcore anime fandom was in the mid 90s, when it was either vhs tape trades online or $30-40 dollars for a 3 episode tape. So I only really know a handful of shows after about 2000.

I want them to pull the trigger and put Roman and Eva together. Every time they are on-screan Cole/JBL reminds us every 5 seconds how much we relate to them. As much as they'd have to mute the crowd on Raw, it would sound like an empty arena.
