As you can tell by my new avatar and sig, I'm already thinking about Halloween. Seriously, I don't know if I have an obsession or what the deal is, but I've always felt this way since I was just a little bastard. Everybody likes Halloween, but I look forward to it all fricking year. I just love everything about it - the ambience, the creativity, the horror flicks on TV, the costumes, everything.
I like Christmas, too, but nowhere near as much - Halloween is everything that Christmas is without all of the baggage and pressure. It's just a 100% party for me - and then some, as I have become the Triple H of my town at the yearly Buffalo Wild Wings costume contest, as I have jobbed to no one for three years running (last year I went as Blade from the Puppet Master series).
So, the countdown is on - if anybody has any Halloween stories to tell or what they might be dressing as come October 31st, post here...

Halloween is pretty much X-mas to me...no other holiday is more significant, and my friends and I exchange presents.

I, too, love Halloween. Hell, the entire month of October is my favorite time of the year. Horror movies all over TV, my birthday in the middle of the month, what's not to love?
As for Halloween, I'm going to dress as one of these two characters from the movie "Battlefield Baseball":
1.) The Gedo High team member with the bandages on his head 2.) Bancho

I Love Halloween! My big holiday is Christmas, but the Ween is a very close second.
My son's an alien this year. He's already got his costume, complete with a mask he'll be tired of in about 10 minutes.

Christmas used to be a close second to Halloween with me, but ever since I started working in a department store...that kind of shunted it down the list.

I am not Bobby Heenan, but I know a guy that got his picture taken with him...and Halloween will always be more important to me. I don't even really celebrate X-mas...my friends and I celebrate Malcolm X-mas...at least we KNOW he existed!

But Malcolm X had cool shades and a movie where he was portrayed by Denzel Washington. +1 for the X-man.

Halloween is pretty much a nothing day over here. Might get 2 or 3 knocks in the evening, but Halloweens have passed without any indication of it being Halloween before.
We get bonfire night though ;D

Any more costume plans for this year? I loved the ManBearPig idea; I was thinking either the Phantom of the Opera or Darkman for myself.
