I'm not really a big fan of Halloween... It's not part of my culture, so I see it as a cheap "tradition" imported mainly for $$$ purposes.
That won't prevent me from dressing up and being a dick if enough of my friends will take part.
Some years ago I was dressed up like a deadman/ghost whatever it was, and I was with two witches, and we were the only people in disguise, while everyone else was wearing regular clothes... Not funny.
I hope this year I can have a better Halloween.

"Revenge of the Creature" is on that Creature boxed set; that thing is HILARIOUS and was even parodied on Mystery Science Theater 3000. Gotta love John Agar's wooden "acting."

Revenge of the Creature is a classic compared to The Creature Walks Among Us (the 3rd movie in the series). Although, seeing the actors that played Exeter and Cal from This Island Earth (mocked in MST3K: The Movie) was pretty fun.

They showed Freaks yesterday on AMC. One of my all-time faves. It was Turner Classic Movies. But yeah, Freaks is awesome. Tod Browning was the man!

I must see "The Creature Walks Among Us."
And Freaks is, indeed, quite awesome. I actually rented a little trifecta of my fave horror flicks to get me in the pre-Halloween spirit tonight: Child's Play 3, Exorcist III, and the original Hellraiser. Should be a fun six hours.

Being a kid in High School I have grown to hate Halloween. Why you ask? It hasn't been on a Friday or a Saturday in FOREVER (yes, that is an actual measurement of time). I love Halloween just not me-in-High-School-Halloween.

No big party for me, I'm going to be making some goodies for my friends' parties, but will likely spend the night at home playing DAoC or something. I will probably party for a little bit, but not long since I'm not terribly social, especially this time of year through November.

What actual day does Halloween fall on this year? My neighborhood's pretty cool, if it's like a Mon-Thurs, they host a huge trick or treat thing for the kids on the following Fri/Sat so they can stay out late, which I think is awesome especially since some schools don't allow costumes anymore.
