And the others? What do you think of them? Will you hunt them down like a bloodthirsty savage? I was gonna throw Shaun of the Dead on that list, but I figured you knew about it already. Know about it and own it. I will definatly hunt some of those down. I want some awesome splatterfest Zombie movies.I will possibly resort to eating brains to find the movies.

Man...you guys have got me beat, at least as far as zombie movies go. Of the ones you mentioned, DSR, the only two that I've seen are Dead Alive and Fulci's Zombie. My little F13 marathon went well - even if it was just me sitting in my apartment all night because I have so many friends and things to do.

I actually brought a few of the F13 movies to my little Horror Show. I let my friends pick what we watched, and none of them went for any Jason movies.

Favorite zombie movie ever is probably Return of the Living Dead, Part II. In my book, Shaun of the Dead has NOTHING on that movie in the comedy and spoof department.

I've only seen Return of the Living Dead III (which was awesome) and ROTLD5: Rave to the Grave (f***ing atrocious). Still, I can usually find Part II for pretty cheap, so I might pick that up eventually. As for my recent horror movie purchases, just yesterday, I picked up: The Church (pretty good Italian horror, produced by Dario Argento) Vampire Circus (Hammer horror film, haven't seen it yet) Wicked City (horror/sci-fi anime movie...damn good) Mentioning The Church above reminds me. "Cemetery Man" is a damn fine Zombie movie. Directed by the same guy as The Church (Michele Soavi), it's funny and weird, and a little atmospheric, and has a dry British wit to it (in my estimation, anyway). Check it out!

I vaguely remember seeing a movie at Target the other day called, I believe, "Jennifer", which I think had Dario Argento's name attached to it somehow. I read the back of it because it looked pretty interesting - it's about a teenage girl with a disfigured face but a killer body who seduces a detective and apparently murders a bunch of people.
Now that all that nonsense is out of the way, DSR, do you know the movie? I haven't seen it but it sounded mighty good.

Halloween, normally don't get too excited about it and use it as an excuse to watch a horror movie.
However this year there is a halloween party to go to, which should be cool.

It's a pretty good little short (just under an hour), but it's not Argento's best work (which would be Suspiria). If you can find Deus Ex Machina's "Masters of Horror" thread, he talks a bit about it. Still, I thought it was worth owning.

Man, this fell down to page 17??
Anyway, we're starting to get into the thick of it. Anybody else just getting totally caught up in the atmosphere? I went all-out with the pumpkins this year and made ten of 'em - they're all sitting in a row outside my apartment. And last night AMC had an awesome little marathon - Halloween 4, 5, and the original Child's Play. Pure bliss.

I've seen a few of the old school Universal horror movies on AMC this week. And I'm always buying horror dvds. This Friday, I'm gonna have my VCR set to tape a movie, since I won't be in town for it. It's on Turner Classic Movies, so I don't have to worry about commercials or anything.

"The House That Dripped Blood" is a pretty good little anthology flick that I saw last year. Hoping to get it on tape this year.

I plan on going out dressed as a project mayhem banquet waiter from Fight Club. I even spent $130 on getting the tux. Not exactly sure where I'm going though, since it just started being damn cold out.

And now it's over................
<sigh>
Oh well. At least I still got the "Patti Mayonnaise is a Lesbian" thread.
And if anybody at all cares, I am now the three-time Buffalo Wild Wings costume champion.
