I was just thinking to myself an idea for Halloween Imagine if a Cinema did a Halloween day "Fright fest" in which all day they showed classic Horrors i mean like Halloween, Fright night, NOES etc. It would only take up 2 screens maybe (while the rest show the current flicks) In my area they are kind of doing this one week they are showing Nightmare on Elm st part 1 and friday the 13 part 1 or 2 not sure think its 2 actually.

For Halloween, I want to dress as Satan. I have my own Ideas for it. If it happens I'll post a pic. As for movies, I've been watching the NOES movies. Watched 3 yesterday, now I have to watch 4, buy 5, Final and New Nightmare. Then cap it off with FvsJ.

The only real reason this movie is hated with a passion is because it was Halloween 3. Release this as "Season of the Witch" or whatever the subtitle was and you would have had a successful little flick. Another 80s horror film. It was a decent film, but No Michael = No Success.

Interesting thing about "Halloween 3" - I'm sure most of you know this, but I'll reiterate it anyway - is that Michael was actually supposed to be dead, FOR GOOD, after part 2, and from then on the "Halloween" series was going to have a new movie released near Halloween time every year with a different story each time but still having a Halloween theme.
Of course, HIII wasn't the best film in the world (although, like DSR, I kind of like it), so that experiment only lasted the one flick before H4-HR.

NOW I know what I want to be for Halloween..Harley Quinn. *Search* You'd make the costume look better then how I would. I decided I am going to put a twist on the vampire costume. I've always wanted to get the fangs and this'll be an experiment for me, with how I'm going to do it. It's not Underworld, nor Anne Rice, nor Nosferatu. It'll be my creation. Mwahahaha.........

I liked Halloween 3. It's easily better than any of the films that followed it (with the exception of maybe part 6). 4 and 5 are the same movie (which only worked once), H20 was a lousy Scream clone, and Resurrection was a reality show hosted by Busta Rhymes.
And the only reason why I like 6 is because I like Paul Rudd. And showing props to Donald Pleasance for his final film role.

I actually have never dug any of the Halloween series, but I am interested in seeing what Rob Zombie's going to do. He has me sucked in ever since Devil's Rejects.

DSR, I agree with you about H6. It definitely has its moments (including one unintentionally hilarious moment where Michael walks straight through a hospital room while not seeing Paul Rudd and the heroine not five feet away). I do, however, respectfully disagree about H4 and H5. I actually feel that these two movies were very cool (nothing beats that opening montage of Halloween scenes from the American countryside over the opening credits of H4 - that scene alone really puts me in the mood for Halloween).
Not sure if any of the above made sense, so I'll also go all anti-Cena smarky smark on this and say that H20 and HR are TEH SUXOR1Z111!!
