Lot of bad luck today but this team needs to win the Yankee series or heads will (or should) roll.

Uhh... As much as I hate it, The Phils probably will win.
Chuck James is pitching for Atlanta, Cole Hamels for Philly. If that wasn't bad enough, Chuck hasn't even had time to really get going as he missed ST by being on the DL and he's been up and down between AAA and MLB multiple times.
Then on top of all that Chipper is scratched from tonights lineup after tweaking his leg last night.

"Edmonds made his Cubs debut Thursday, going 1-for-4 and stranding seven baserunners in the Cubs' 4-0 win over his former team, the San Diego Padres. His new teammates gave him a tip on how to win friends at Wrigley: toss a ball into the bleachers after warmups. It helped a little."

2-0 Phillies in the 3rd Cole is looking good tonight so far, nice to see him back in form. Like I said before, I was fully expecting you guys to win tonight. This doesn't bother me as I was expecting a loss and a win would have just made me estatic. Chuck James vs. Cole Hammels Flyball Chuck James in Homerun Ballpark Philly Chipper out I conceded this one this morning.

Deadpool, why are the Braves awesome at home (like 15-4) but suck on the road (like 5-14)? I saw that stat last night and it amazed me.
Hamels is owning the Braves through 6 innings. 0 runs, 2 hits, and he's only needed 67 pitches to do it.

Hamels is owning the Braves through 6 innings. 0 runs, 2 hits, and he's only needed 67 pitches to do it. I wish I knew. Just like I wish I knew why we are like 1-10 in 1 run games. We've battled TONS of pitching injuries and that may have something to do with it. The guy the Phils are facing right now, James. He started the year on the DL and only got called up to the bigs (2 or 3 times now he's been up and sent down, then called up) because of injuries. Gonzalez, Smoltz and James all started on the DL. Since then Smoltz has gone back on the DL and James called up and down due to injuries. Also James missed Spring Training so these games are like his training. Gonzalez is still out for another month or so. Also, Glavine, Soriano, and Hampton have gone on the DL and Pete Moylan's season is over due to Tommy John.

Also, due to what I was just speaking of rumors are starting to kick up of Maddux possibly coming back to the Braves via trade. I would love to see Maddux back in Atlanta.
