I have always believed, and will continue to believe, that few people around that time got more of a raw deal from WWE than Nick Dinsmore, Brent Albright, and Rob Conway.
HOWEVER.....put some of the opinions I espouse on this board in context as such: I am a converted NWA/ROH fan who honest-to-God watches TNA's first 3-hour PPVs and misses the days when THAT promotion truly WAS the NEW face of professional wrestling.
Put quite simply, I'm not a Boogeyman mark. I'm not a Snitsky mark. And "sports entertainment" frankly makes me nearly want to vomit. I'm a WRESTLING fan, and damn if these three didn't all seem to have the chops to develop into some damn fine wrestlers, if given the chance to really carve out niches for themselves. I don't feel any of them ever got the chance they really deserved.

The same reason the Highlanders didn't get over, or ten billion other people: because the bookers have short damn attention spans. They had him come out to the ring about three weeks in a row and squash jobbers during Raw, people didn't care, so they gave up on him. Why would anyone care about someone who never does anything? It was a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Slightly off topic, but I recently saw the "Con-Way" truck that was talked about in the forums. Man was that hilarious.
