When I was about six or seven, there was a St. Patrick's Day party in my school. Everything was going fine until one of the teachers figured that it'd be amusing to jump from behind a door and surprise the class wearing a rather detailed and realistic leprechaun mask as they were coming inside. I was in the front of the line.
Shamrocks made me feel uneasy for a while afterwards.

I was deathly afraid of water where I could not see the bottom until I was like 14.
It had nothing to do with fear of water, or drowning..... but Monsters.
I spent my early years watching too many Monster movies.

That big brown muppet. Not fozzy, the monster with the big nose. I can't remember his name.

When I was 3 and 4, I was scared to death of the garbage disposal. I thought it was coming from the trash can in the kitchen and I was afraid to go near it as well. Anytime my mom turned it on, I ran and hid.
When I was probably 5 or so, I was afraid of clowns. I can't really remember the reason though. However a few years later, I LOVED heel Doink. So I got over it quick.

When I was a kid, I had this idea about Heaven and that everyone was going to be there naked. This scared the hell out of me because I had visions of hanging around in the buff with everyone around (family, pals, etc).
I even pleaded to God to allow me to remain dressed.

I didn't like statues w/ missing arms and heads.
After watching Clash of the Titans, I was deathly afraid of Madusa. I thought even imagining her face in my head would turn me into stone.

The vacuum cleaner. It was loud and had that headlight on it that looked like one bright evil eye. I think it was because I disliked Kirby the vacuum from The Brave Little Toaster.

I was scared of drains in swimming pools for years.
Also, and I`m not proud of this one, I was scared of black people. When we went on holiday to Spain when I was 4 or 5, there was a black woman who worked the hotel. When I saw her I screamed and ran away. My parents really didn`t know where to look.
