Would a thread that would ask people who are interested in PM me to talk about ****** ****** ****** be against the rule? Also congratulations Deadpool on your MODification I just had a few thoughts on this. First of all I had no intent to skirt the rules, that's why I asked in this thread before creating my own about said topic. Secondly, and imo more importantly, as of April 15,2008 there is nothing in the rules that moderates what kinds of communications Wrestlecrap board members can have through private message. If the staff changes this that is their right, but until that happens I hardly think calling using the PM system "skirting the rules" is fair.

I wouldn't necessarily start a thread about whatever is asterisked there... maybe mention something in your sig and go PMing that way.. as you said, PMs are except in extreme cases, out of our jurisdiction.

Milkman, what we're trying to slow down is the creation of threads which state the want to engage in conversations via PM that would be breaking the rules otherwise. However, PM's and the conversations within are your personal bussiness. So if you wish to contact people via PM to talk about certain things, feel free to do so, we're just trying to stop the "PM me/I'll PM you" type threads and posts.

If you wanted to post a video that just had one cuss word in it, would that be okay?

Video with swearing is fine as long as it's not the point of the video.
If it's the point, don't bother posting it.
If it's just a video that happens to have bad language in it just put up a warning about the content.
Breaking the link is not needed.

I think the spoiler rule really needs to be examined on here. I haven't seen the Calzaghe/Hopkins fight yet, but I know the result because it was posted in a thread called "Gimmick infrigement against Randy Orton" in the WWE board. Now come on, there should've been some sort of warning against that. Thankfully I've managed to avoid the UFC results from last night.

If it's aired, it's not a spoiler. In simplest terms, that's the rule. There need be no spoiler warning for something that's already been broadcast.

Is the '10 most recent posts' on the forum (on the main page) screwed up? If so, is this permanent? I quite liked that feature, but it came back with no results when I tried it.

It might be a proboards problem. If I could, I would try to do a board fix, but the option seems to be missing for the moderators.

I just got a MySpace account and would like to inform the fellow Crappers about it. Am I allowed to start a thread in order to do so or nah?

I would recommend putting a link to it in your sig. I'm pretty sure that's not against any rules as I've seen many people here with myspace links in their sigs.

Okay, I'll do that (If I have enough letters left. ><) Also, what about making an all-purpose MySpace thread so everyone could show their MySpace?

We do occasional "what's your myspace/facebook/whatever" threads - just check the last week or so and make sure there isn't still a recently active one before starting one.
