Im sure its been asked previously, but whats with the banners recently?
I've seen a couple for gay dating, and just got one for "Muslim Marriages On-Line".
Seems to be a recent trend.

wrestlecrap.com doesn't control the banners, that's all proboards.

Usually the banners are subject sensitive; in that, if you go into a thread about, say, clowns, you may get a circus banner, an ICP banner or the like. It can pinpoint to one word in a thread even at times, so if the word "gay" is mentioned in one post, that may cause "similar subject" banners to appear.

Would a thread about poker be allowed? I've seen nothing in the rules about gambling, unless I missed it.

Besides, draw poker isn't considered gambling in many places, as it's a game of skill. Blackjack would be different.

Well, the thing is those are all just card games. Just because you're talking about poker, blackjack, etc doesn't mean you have to be talking about illegal gambling.

Where would I put a discussion of an independent wrestling website? I thought Wrest, but since it doesn't pertain directly to wrestling action, Off Topic came to mind too. Guidance, anyone?

I would think it would go in Wrest, Austin, since it is a wrestling website.
If anyone disagrees with me they can move it later.

On the top two above post, the answer is yes, I'll allow it.
Heck I made my own would you rather, but strictly with two choices; Aunt Jemima and Mrs. Buttersworth. I like syrup.

I was gonna put a thread/poll up about a new bill going through that would make it a federal law to card anyone buying an M/AO rated game, but stopped to make sure that's not breaking the political TOS rule before I do it.

Would I be allowed to advertise on the Off Topic section about recruiting new writers for Entertainment Newsline?
It might be partially considered advertising and I'm not sure if that's allowed. So I thought I'd check up on that.

Can a mod remind me of the rules about posting "I`m leaving" threads? Indeed. And for the simplified answer: I don't mind a quick note thread along the lines of "hey, I'm heading off to college, don't have a computer there, don't know when I'll be back" or "I'm moving to Latveria, I'll be back online in three months"...that sort of thing I don't mind. Otherwise, I'm of the mind that if you're going to leave, just do it.
