Remember to check the rules and forum FAQ before posting. And remember, this thread is for questions only. Here's the previous thread.

In response to a question on the last page of the last thread, referring to the rules:
"No lewd/graphic discussion".
Masturbation falls under that. We do allow people to talk about sex on here as long as they don't go into too much detail.
So while a 'favorite sexual position' thread would be locked/deleted, the 'how many partners' thread is still going.

so a thread and a poll about Numbers gets taken down? This makes absolutley no sense to me. My thread wasnt asking people to go into details, it was a simple question dealing with numbers and averages. so if you use the word "spanking the monkey" thats considering lewd?, but asking how many people you have NAILED isnt considered lewd? Was the thread asking the poster to go into details about how they do it NO? The thread was a simple poll asking for numbers. If you use the rule of it being LEWD/GRAPHIC... then the how many people you have nailed also falls under the lines. All im saying is be consistant with how you handle things because if mine has to go, then so does that thread. Thats all im saying As I wasn't the one who locked and moved it, I can't say one way or another... but I'd suspect that the 'how many' thread got the boot because it descended into unpleasant-ness and flaming rather than graphic nature. After all, it did make it to page 14 before that.

And seriously, it's two different things. Some consider sexual partners milestones or otherwise important - such as lovers, spouses, etc - while masturbation.... isn't. You seem to think we're out to get you but that's simply not the case.

This is more a point of interest than a question. I've recently had to set up a board for something completely unrelated and went with proboards as the wrestlecrap boards are the only ones I frequent, they work really well, so why not use proboards aswell? Anyway, I've been messing around with different modifications that can be made to the board There's a list of them here: support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=codedatabase&action=display&thread=70177&page=1#492102They've got some really nifty modifications there, like the 'ImageShack Uploader in Posts' Just thought I'd pass along this interesting info to the wrestlecrap mods, wasn't sure where to put it, figured here was best edit: nice, they also have a spoiler hiding button

Just wondering, why do threads still get locked when they reach 30 pages? I thought this new version of Proboards was supposed to be able to handle longer threads. I don't recall any issues happening during Wrestlemania weekend when there were several threads over 100 pages, although I wasn't around the entire weekend so I may have missed something.
Other Proboards forums that I frequent have threads that are well over 200 pages and never have any problems at all. I was just wondering about the thought process behind the 30 Page Lock.

To be honest, the 30-page rule was many-fold. Fast-growing threads did indeed screw up the board, but we also wanted to put an end to ever-growing random, senseless threads that were just complete nonsense. On top of that, smaller threads are more manageable in terms of anybody, mods or regular posters, finding something. If you're trying to find that ONE post, you want to go through 30 pages looking for it, or 115?

Long Answer: I've looked into a lot of the codes on the list and have implemented some of them on my own forums such as a chat room, the spoiler code, dice rolls, and others. Here's the thing: Externally-housed codes can be changed, without notice or warning, by the person that owns and houses the code as well as by hackers that can target these codes. That can break a forum pretty darn quickly as my chat room turned into a gigantic goatse/tubgirl and 'spoiler' button turned into an eyeball with a vagina for a pupil. Some things, like the personal filters and custom emoticons would be extremely handy to have around but in the end they're just one more thing that can go wrong with the forum.

In response to a question on the last page of the last thread, referring to the rules: "No lewd/graphic discussion". So while a 'favorite sexual position' thread would be locked/deleted. can you just give an explaination on this one? why is that such a crime? I mean, if people are offended by sex talk, they can always just NOT click on thread.

Because it's not that simple. Not every thread that's strictly about that would be titled in a way that people would know what it was about. Everyone goes with titles like "Why is it that..." or "Is it just me or..." - vague stuff. Half the time we have no idea WHAT the thread is about.
And then you honestly expect it to stay confined to just threads specifically about it? Give an inch, take a mile. No, it'd be showing up in threads about coffee, CDs and Cena. Unless we come up with an even more complicated rules.
Sorry, but no.

It's been a couple of weeks, and I still can't gain "permission" to access this "BOYCOTT THE JOHN CENA SHOW" thread on my bookmark page in order to remove it.

Sorry bro, have to say no. Not anything against you, we just have a fairly straight-line policy on that, as then someone else wants their thing pinned, then someone else, etc. and they get pissed because we let one but not them.

Now that you've posted your intent in this thread... a whole thread for it would seem like overkill.

And honestly we're stopping the 'PM train' trend for things trying to skirt around or break the rules.

Also, if anyone DOES feel uncomfortable having sigs and avatars, that are allowed, show up at work there are options on your profile to turn them off so they don't show up.

I didn't see this covered in the rules, FAQ, or anywhere else. I may very well have missed it, but I'll ask anyway.
Is there any chance of me selling a ticket to a WWE event here? No scalping or anything, just the price printed on the ticket. I tried to do it on eBay, but had an endless number of problems with them. I originally bought a ticket to said show, but received a much better seat as an early birthday gift, so I no longer have any use for it. I figure it would sell best on a wrestling board. If you don't allow it, I totally understand. I just wanted to put the idea out there, because I really need to get this thing sold.
