The Bears over the Saints 27-24 in OT Just watched the highlights on ESPN. New Orleans choked and killed there playoff chances with that pass interference. They never even got the damn ball. Chicago scored on their first drive? Well that's NO for ya. Scratch em off the list. Oh goody now theyre talking about the TO/Romo slapfest and they are basically saying Dallas will implode against the Giants this weekend, killing their playoff chances. Looks like Philly has pulled both feet out of the grave and is going for the second place finish since Dallas and Washington are imploding.

Seriously, one month ago the Eagles suffered their most embarrassing game under Reid and McNabb and now they've got their playoff hopes basically in their hands (barring a run by the Falcons).
This is unreal. The Lions may end up with two top 15 picks this year.

Oh I won't jump you on that, don't worry. I agree with you on the fact that they just need to "face the music" and take the penality...but as a Vikings fan and seeing that my team can actually win the division for a the first time in 8 years I have to admit that I am happy with the fact that they are still playing (even if they should just face it). Should they be suspended? Well yes considering they did sign a contract saying they wouldn't take those substances. But with them getting out of it right now, I'll accept it as they can help clinch the playoff spot. I never said that they shouldn't be suspended. I knew when the story came out that sooner or later they would be for it. I am just kind of hoping that it gets put off until the beginning of next season considering how late it is into this season. Whatever happens, happens. If this whole case drops and all 6 players don't get suspended then the message sent is not a good one at all. Okay, I'm just used to a heated Viking/Packer rivalry at work, and I've already gone round about this. Went on about this very thing with a Viking fan tonight and he called my integrity in question. You realize if your team wins the division, you're stuck with Childress? He'll probably get a contract extension, being the second coming of Dennis Green. ;D If there is one compliment that I can give your team, though, it's that the women in your Cheerleader Squad are quite fetching. Trust me, where i live it is all about the Vikings/Packer rivarly. And yes I do realize that he would get a contract extension. Truthfully it is hard to really say that he shouldn't right now. The problem at the beginning of the season was the fact that it just didn't seem like he put the "team" together. Now it seems that they have somewhat comes together. It seems that we are just 1 QB short of a contender team....that is if our pass defense shows up and plays. Have you gone to any of the games? The last game at the dome was the first time I went to a Vikes/Pack game. Even if the Packers would have made the last second field goal, I would still consider it the best game I've gone to. I really want to get to Lambeau one year.

To save Sean Payton the trouble of holding a press conference... www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDAq5tyfk9EYes, we are. Yes, you did. And the Bears once again prove that New Orleans fears the lakefront in December. Now we are one gawd-awful Vikings quarterback away (and coming from an Orton supporter, this means something) from being right back in the division race. Thanks, New Orleans, for being bad.

Apparently we've gone past psychic powers and headed straight to psychotic powers. It's the only thing that can explain Steve Slaton rushing for 1,000 yards in his rookie season.

So if he gets roughly 100 yds in each of the next three games He'll pass that mark. That'll also give us two 1,000 yard RB's along with D-Will.

It's really pathetic that any "sides" would be taken, instead of everyone trying to get on the same page and patch things up. I also like how in that article Newman says that team chemisty is "great" but then goes on to bash the coaches in the very same sentence.

Wow, as one of my teams is heading up (The Panthers), my other team is slowly imploding on the inside. Why can't they both be good, dammit?! Also, I'd like to display the stats they are showing. Owens to Witten ratio Passes thrown to ('08) 87 to 80 Passes caught ('08) 43 to 57 Passes thrown to ('06-'08) 336 to 286 Passes caught ('06-'08)186 to 201 Hmm. Intriguing. Owens has had the ball passed to him 7 more times than Witten this year. HOWEVER, Witten has dropped the ball 14 less times than Owens. In total stats, Owens has had the ball passed to him 50 more times than Witten, but has dropped the ball 115 more times than Witten. I would prescribe to Owens a nice tall glass of Shut the F*** up and catch the damn ball!

Good thing I've got a great basketball team to follow right now. If I didn't, this whole clusterf*** in Dallas would be much more depressing.

A league source tells Profootballtalk.com that Jason Witten and/or his agent is the likely source for ESPN's report that Terrell Owens is resentful of Witten and Tony Romo's relationship.
Andre Gurode also reportedly called out Witten in a recent team meeting for allegedly giving the story to Werder.

The last game at the dome was the first time I went to a Vikes/Pack game. Even if the Packers would have made the last second field goal, I would still consider it the best game I've gone to. I really want to get to Lambeau one year. I've gone to Lambeau for several games, but the best one was the year they opened the refurbished stadium. My bud came into a bar around closing time and his cousin or uncle had given him tickets. Well, he wasn't sure he could go, so he was just seeing if any of us would buy them off of him. He asked his best bud, but he was dating a complete bitch at that time so she tore him a new one and let him know that there was no way in Hell that he was going to spend his money on those tickets, and all my bud as asking for them was face value. So I looked at him and said, "f*** it. Let's go to the game. I'll pay for the gas." He smirked and we took off out the door and I followed him back to his place. We parked my vehicle and he ran inside to get his jersey. He came out with a case of beer and a cooler. I knew where this was going, but I didn't care. We emptied the case into the cooler and went down to the local convenience store to pick up some ice. Then we were on our merry way to the stadium. Now the town we were in at the time is around a 5-6 hour trip to Green Bay. It was 3:30-4:00 before we left, and he drove straight down, only stopping for gas and to pee, since we were drinking beer all the way down. I should've taken a nap, but I was pumped and had managed to maintain a buzz for longer than I should have that day. We got down there at 9 and only stopped for breakfast at a nice little diner. We drove over and paid someone to park in their driveway just a short walk from the stadium. On our way there, it seemed that every tailgate party we passed in people's yards, they were inviting us to stop in and have a drink with them. By the time we got to the stadium, we were loaded as all hell. We kind of stumbled onto our seats and luckily we were close to the vendors. My word did it all become a blur after then. I mean, we were buzzed as hell watching our team beat the hell out of the Detroit Lions (sorry, guys) and having the time of our lives. And all because I kind of got an attitude after listening to that harpy berate his best friend.
