Well I'm happy with the fact that Pat and Kevin are playing again this week. The NFL should just hold off all suspensions until next season. Nice message they're sending there. They sign a contract where they agree not to take certain substances, but when they're called on it, it's not their fault. And the only state they can try this case in is Minnesota because of their lax laws? Great message to send to the kids there. You don't have to take any personal responsibility if you're in the NFL. And before anyone says "You're only saying that because you're a Packer fan", if it was happening to someone on my team, I'd say that they should just shut up and serve their suspensions. Sure, they screwed up, but face the music. I didn't bitch when Packer players were suspended in seasons past for their malfeasance, and I won't in the future. Oh I won't jump you on that, don't worry. I agree with you on the fact that they just need to "face the music" and take the penality...but as a Vikings fan and seeing that my team can actually win the division for a the first time in 8 years I have to admit that I am happy with the fact that they are still playing (even if they should just face it). Should they be suspended? Well yes considering they did sign a contract saying they wouldn't take those substances. But with them getting out of it right now, I'll accept it as they can help clinch the playoff spot. I never said that they shouldn't be suspended. I knew when the story came out that sooner or later they would be for it. I am just kind of hoping that it gets put off until the beginning of next season considering how late it is into this season. Whatever happens, happens. If this whole case drops and all 6 players don't get suspended then the message sent is not a good one at all.

So anyone else watching the game on NFL Net? Not me personally. I just follow the score as it's updated on NFL.com. Chicago leading New Orleans 21 to 7 at halftime. Bears are probably gonna kill the Saints playoff hopes. What's more suprising than TO acting like TO? Deon Sanders is on his side. (sarcasm)

Owens is a complete ass.
He isnt the center of attention, so he whines like a little girl.
The guy is what's wrong with sports

Updating a previous item, Clarence Hill of the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram reports Cowboys wide receivers Terrell Owens, Roy Williams, and Patrick Crayton held a meeting with offensive coordinator Jason Garrett regarding their role vs. Jason Witten's role in the offense. NFL Network's Deion Sanders, a confidant of T.O., suggested the complaints were coming from Crayton and Williams as opposed to T.O. Maybe he's rubbing off. At issue is the perception that Tony Romo relies on best friend Jason Witten at the expense of the rest of his options. Coach Wade Phillips is attempting to downplay the conflict Yes, it's not TO, who has a long history of complaining about QB's an not getting 20 passes thrown to him a game, but two guys who have never complained publicly, including one who spend years in Detroit, where he had every reason to complain. Yes Deion, TO doesn't have an ego. No players have egos right?

So when is TO going to call Romo a fag like he did with Garcia? When the Cowboys fail to make the playoffs.

So when is TO going to call Romo a fag like he did with Garcia? About 3 days before ESPN releases the news that TO is up for free agency and ready to go make somebody elses team miserable this summer.

Reading the new Dallas Cowboys story, Wade Phillips has no control over this team, and Roy Williams is already complaining.
Couldn't happen to a better team.

Also, if TO is upset that he doesn't lead the team in receptions, maybe he shouldn't drop 4-5 passes a game and give up on routes, rather than bitch and complain that somehow Romo and Whitten are going behind the offensive coordinator's back and designing plays just for themselves and leaving everyone out of it. That's just ridiculous and such a childish, unprofessional thought. This isn't pickup football. This is the freaking NFL. If all 11 guys aren't on the same page, then you don't succeed.
But I'm going to go get my popcorn and watch how this unfolds.

Okay, I'm just used to a heated Viking/Packer rivalry at work, and I've already gone round about this. Went on about this very thing with a Viking fan tonight and he called my integrity in question. You realize if your team wins the division, you're stuck with Childress? He'll probably get a contract extension, being the second coming of Dennis Green. ;D If there is one compliment that I can give your team, though, it's that the women in your Cheerleader Squad are quite fetching.

Lol. If he didn't wanna play with the 49ers because they couldn't win a Super Bowl... and he didn't wanna play with the Eagles because they couldn't... I seriously doubt he'd want to go to Detroit. I swear Owens wakes up everyday thinking about that ring and realizes every night another day's passed and he hasn't won it. I feel sorry for the guys in a lot of ways.

Yeah but by now, any sensible team would not pick up that cancer. Unless they are really desperate.

If he goes to the Lions,I'd probably just quit watching the NFL. It's bad enough they picked up Culpepper. If they would somehow acquire Owens, that would probably be the final straw for me.

If he had stayed in SF or Philly he would of stood a better chance of getting a ring. But he wastes too much damn time farting around and switching teams whenever he doesn't get his way, so when the team looks like they are ready to make a playoff run he takes a powder. Before he knows it his career will be done, no ring, just alot of highlight plays for a crapload of different teams.
