I sounds like he might have been facetious. I don't actually see him wrestling, but I think there's a good chance that he'll make an appearance.

I know many of you won't agree, but I hope this doesn't happen. The Wrestler was a great way to get the business out and maybe attract some fans. It was also a great artistic piece that anyone can respect.
Doing a match with Ram would cheapen everything this movie accomplished. Rourke at WM? Awesome, give him a ringside seat and maybe an interview on the side (NOT IN CHARACTER). Any physical involvement would turn The Wrestler and Rourke's work into a sideshow.

"Jericho, you better get in shape. I'm coming to get you."
That was the exact quote.

The only way to do this is to go too far and have it be a match.

I bet he just does a little move on Jericho as himself or something. I highly doubt he is ready to do a full match.

Saw The Wrestler today. Really, really enjoyed it. Both Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei deserved their Oscar nominations.
Having Rourke appear at WM is cool but he'd be wise to avoid a match, especially after regaining respectability.

The Wrestler was a movie about the indies, that CZW and ROH were heavily involved in. WWE wants to make money on it, which I find wrong, especially considering until it got Oscar nods, Vince hated it.
