WE WANT BITZ! WE WANT BITZ!
The Bruins appear to have found their dominating stride once again, and Michael Ryder is a key part of it. Lucic and Thornton's presence on the ice is scary. Oh, and props to Kobasew for not taking any s***.

The Habs have their revenge against Vancouver today shutting them out 3-0. That's the good news. The bad news is they're still 5th overall in the East and 4 points away from Carolina's 9th berth. ><

Sabres holding on for dear life with Miller out for a while now. I also think its funny that losing to the Leafs gets you fired now (Therrien and Renny both)

The bad news is they're still 5th overall in the East and 4 points away from Carolina's 9th berth. >< And I see our pal Kovalev is taking some dumb penalties again. Sigh. So it looks like Halak is our number one guy now. Guy said the spot was up for grabs and he's looking more and more like he's going to be the one to get it. I don't think they're very impressed with Price anymore and I bet they really regret sending Huet away. Why they did that I'll never know....sigh. So we win 2 in a row! Finally. Even if we do make the playoffs I doubt we'll get very far. I'm pretty sure we'll be out in the first round even if we did.

Time to set the clock; the Countdown to the Return is on. The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

Time to set the clock; the Countdown to the Return is on. The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. SNORK YA! Team is hopefully over the flu with a brand new offensive and a Hall of Fame goaltender who will get back in form by the time the playoffs role around. This is going to be awesome. Other Devils news: njmg.typepad.com/devilsblog/2009/02/brodeur-activated-from-ir-clemmensen-sent-to-lowell.html#moreMarty back from IR Clemmer goes down to Lowell most likely until the trading deadline because of contract reasons ( Weekes isn't a two way deal)

Sucks for Clemm, but I don't blame Lou at all for not wanting to risk losing him for nothing via waivers. I'm sure Clemm understands the situation.
Almost as big a bit of news as Marty's return? Paul Martin will be back tomorrow. That's huge for the defense.

Perhaps he injured himself for the Capitals loss. No wait, my sarcastic sense has a better idea. Ovie's own evil side laughed at Sid's manhood, so Sid tried to make things bigger to show him. Only he hurt himself in the process...Actually that would sound perfectly valid. (No intentions of evil to Sid himself.)

So I'm leafing through the NHL catalog they sent me and I noticed on thing in the DVD collection. The Rags have one for 94, the Flyers have one for their top 10 games, so do the Pens, and as well the Islanders(they are giving away a pair of tickets if you purchase it when it comes out on the 4th).
No love for the Devils.

i loved Ryder on the Habs....dunno why they let him go...especially how hot his season has been this year Because he somehow ended up in the doghouse last year and was never given any chance to get out of it. His playing time decreased In step the Bruins, who (correctly) figured that Claude Julien would be able to bring Ryder in and have him flourish under his system
