If there is a bigger p***y in hockey than Sean Avery, please come forward.
Seriously, watch the video. Avery looks around to make sure that Chara or Lucic aren't on the ice, then cheap shots Thomas from behind and scampers away. And when Thomas charges after him for his revenge, Avery scurries away with a "What did I do to deserve that?!?!" look on his face.
Hopefully the Rangers realize that Avery is doing nothing good for that team. I have friends that are die-hard Rangers fans and they defend Avery to the death, despite the fact that he has yet to bring one productive aspect to their team. Hell, they might even miss the playoffs, but its all cool, because Avery's there, throwing cheap shots and running away whenever someone challenges him on it.
Avery is the instigator who doesn't have the balls to back up what he does. He's like the kid on the playground that would knock you off of the jungle gym, but when you go to chase him down, he either a) hides behind his bigger friend or b) already has the teachers aware that you're going to hurt him.
Avery is pathetic. Truly pathetic. He brings nothing positive to the sport of hockey and is an embarrassment to the league. He's a cancer like Terrell Owens, if Owens didn't produce on the field. He's a flake like Manny Ramirez, if Ramirez was unsuccessful. He's a troublemaker like Ron Artest, if Artest had no balls.

A couple of nights ago when I was in the crowd at the RBC Center, Avery was getting away with cheap shots left and and right. When he finally got busted and sent to the box, he kept mouthing off. The crowd went nuts when he finally got caught.

Upon thinking about it, Avery is lucky Shawn Thornton wasnt on the ice yesterday. Thornton would have beat the ever loving pisss out of him

Loved the way the Pens handled Avery the other night. He was getting crunched every chance imaginable.

Some people are getting up in arms about the supposed use of the jumbotron in the use of Avery getting a penalty in that stupid thing he did. I for one have no problem in cases of after the whistle or during break penalties not during the actually running time of a game and going to sometype of replay if deemed necessary. During the game no because we would be there forever or anything incidental caught during reviews of a goal or something like that.
OF course I still hold a grudge from the 97 series where Messier and Gretzky would point to the scoreboard in order to get a foot in the crease review on goals.

I didn't know about the Avery/Thomas incident until I saw it on Coach's Corner. Cherry rants about him (Avery) all the time and I don't blame him. It ticked me off and I'm not even a die-hard Bruins fan. He's a creep, a jerk, and I hope someone punches his lights out. It was good to see Montreal nail Toronto...I can't wait till next year when we see them again. Is there ever bad blood between these teams. Saturday Toronto didn't even look like they bothered to show up. Tanguay-Kovalev-Koivu is one hell of a line and I wish they'd been together since the beginning of the season. Too bad they're all free agents of this summer. Probably one of them, if not all of them will be gone.

Sigh... when a UPS package comes in can anyone inform me of it.
Either way I finally opened my package of playoff tickets. They smell of winning.

Yes, I'm incredibly jealous. Sigh. They're not Habs tickets so I guess it's kind of ok. I forgive you. Habs lose what could have been an easy two points. Figures. Man this team is like watching a soap. Serge Savard is apparently looking to buy this team (with partners of course).

They may be out of the playoffs, but it's always cool to see the Sens pwn the Habs. Dany Heatley FTW.
