I would be fine with the current book being canceled. Let it relaunch under some one with respect for the character. Not that I disagree with you... but I can't go without my Deadpool fix man, and if they cancled it and decided not to relaunch I'd cry! He will always come back, I believe that.

Well I got my first Marvel book for my brithday today, since mom let me opening my presents early. (Since my brithday isn't until Wednesday and Mom would be at work.) And I got Astonishing X-Men Vol. 1: Gifted. So far the book is very good and I thinking about to order book 2 and 3 this week sometime.

I'd rather have no Deadpool than have Way continue Way continue to write him. Hi five for you! Ugh, just ugh at what Way has done with the character, instead of continuing his character growth towards being a hero and getting over hi insanity lets turn back to him being LOL SO LUZ and drop all but two members of his supporting cast *One of which I hate Bob, the other pretty cool Taskmaster*.

I wouldn't even be as ticked off if they at least offered up a reason why EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CHARACTER is different! But they really did take back all the development that Kelly, Simone, and Fabes did with the character. It was dumbassery. I love Bob though. I just find it hilarious he joined a terrorist organization for the benefits.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't give two shits about Deadpool's development. His sole purpose was to be the "for shits and giggles" character of MARVEL.
Thus may be why I am loving the hell out of Way's run. I love Deadpool doing what made him famous in the first place, being funny. I read Deadpool to take the load off from reading Green Lantern, Thor, Spider-man, Batman, etc. AKA, all the series with lots of character development and drama.

He already had the character development, he was already well established. He had his niche. Way spit on that. Fabes, Simone, and Kelly all made him funny and progressed him. If he was still the same guy Leifeld created, he wouldn't have guys like us who are super fans.

If he was still the same guy Leifeld created, he wouldn't have guys like us who are super fans. Deadpool is a comedy character, he doesn't need character development, like at all. Besides, most people only know him for his wisecracks. His character development in the comics didn't really matter in the games and cartoons he has shown up in. They use only his wiseass remarks. The only part of Deadpool's history and character development that matters is his origin. Once we get to the point where we find why he is insane, well we don't need to develop him any more.

I have to have my Deadpool fix man or else I start jonesing man. I got it bad... I got it real bad *scratches like 50 different spots on his body while talking to you* Also, Koda, the fact that the video games even use him as a good guy is showing that his character development mattered. If it didn't he would be nothing more than low level villain for Wolverine to beat on sometimes.

I'm just saying... if you told me I either got Way and eventually a new writer or 5 years of no Deadpool at all... I'd have to sell my soul. Also, Koda, Deadpool's development means a lot to me as he's the only Marvel or DC comic I read at all right now. Though my brother reads Captain America.

And you well know, despite my complaints, I still buy the book, to support the character. Even if I die inside a little every time I read it.

Marvel's reprinting the old Simonson Thor trades soon; that's just about as good as you're going to get from them.

Is that when Thor was turned into a frog? I think that's volume 3, which isn't being reprinted but is still currently in print (as far as I know). Simonson's Thor volumes 1 and 2 are coming back, which feature the coming of Beta Ray Bill, Thor in Hell, and the Ragnarock, which has one of my all time favourite comic moments when victory is snatched from Surtur's hand by a most unexpected foe. Some great stuff in those volumes, and I believe 5 total are out.

If it didn't he would be nothing more than low level villain for Wolverine to beat on sometimes. Ah, but Deadpool isn't exactly a good guy in the video games. Remember what his dialogue would be in MARVEL: Ultimate Alliance's first stage? He wouldn't help one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. soldiers unless he did what Deadpool demanded of him, and he demanded some not-so-good-guy things. Also, they had BLADE as a f***ing good guy in MARVEL: Ultimate Alliance, and he isn't a nice guy either. Just cause Deadpool was on the good guy side in the games doesn't mean he was actually good. He's an anti-hero and a mercenary first. He goes where the money is. Hell that's why he's even having this mini-one man war against Norman Osborn and the Thunderbolts. Norman stole the data Deadpool was hired to get, killed the Skrull Queen, and took all the glory. Because Deadpool didn't turn in the data, he didn't get paid.

Yeah, but my point is if he didn't have character development he wouldn't be helping the good guys at all. Deadpool, while not being a "nice guy", he does care about the things he does and doesn't want to kill innocent bystanders for no reason at all. I never said he was a good person, just a "Good Guy" in that game.
