Mighty Avengers is great - it's back to basics with the Avengers without over saturation from Spiderman and Wolverine. Yeah, I think that's what's drawing me to the title now. It's got Hercules, who's one of my favorites, and Stature, who is a really fun character, and they're actually not overshadowed by having a ton of "A-listers" on the team. Exactly, it's what the Avengers were in the past, although on saying that the core Avengers were always A-Listers but never really stole the show in the title as they had their own books for that while Avengers was always about the team. Surfer was busy in Skaar, which is a pretty poor series imo, but that's dealt with now. Which reminds me, anyone read that book - did Galactus 'eat' the planet and thus is he sated for a Million years as the book said he would be id he did? Because that was an odd thing to say.

Anything Spiderman that Queseda touches.

God that pissed me off. I was interested in the people on the planet and now their all dead. And yeah, Galactus doesn't need to feed for a million years.

Si I actually picked up Vol. 1 of Captain Britain and MI13 today based on this thread, what do you know, it's pretty cool. Remember the Black Knight!? *womp*

I'm on the fence about a couple of things.
I want to get 1985, as it looks pretty darn neat.
I'm also more into the big mash ups as those are entertaining to me.
Like i'm looking into MEssia Complex, do I need to read house of M to get it?

Did anyone say Deadpool yet? Oh wait, I did. Sorry. As a funny note to that, although I've been a DC guy for years now, the only comic guy to grace my wall in poster form is Deadpool. It's like 15 years old and covered with stickers from beer cans, but there it is.

Like i'm looking into MEssia Complex, do I need to read house of M to get it? Not really. The only thing you need to know from House of M going into Messiah Complex is that 99% of all mutants have been stripped of their powers. That's pretty much it.

I was enjoying "Gravity" and some of the other "Marvel Next" issues that Marvel came out with several years ago. Its a shame they ended the line because I felt it had a lot of potential.
