Uh, Kessel had 36 goals this year, while missing 12 games. Not that rediculous to ask for 5 mil The subconsicous always at work, he used the words "nuts" and "grim death" to to describe Kessel. See? The mind is always working on dirty jokes, even if you're not aware.

Next year is going to be the 15th, 10th, and 7th anniversary of the Devils cup win... damnit I want another one. And the 'second' centennial year of the Canadiens, being founded in December 1909 (forget all the mess about this season.) If they can actually scrap up a Redeem Team and win I would be very surprised. 42nd for the anniversary for the Leafs last cup, 38th for the Bruins, and 49th for the Blackhawks. Also 30th for the Islanders first Cup win, also the 17th for the last time the cup was won by a Canada based team. Now that the last champ of the 00's has been crownd who is the team of the decade. Red Wings and the Devils won 2 lost one (02, 08 and lost in 09 and 00, 03, and lost in 01) also made the playoffs in each season in the 00's. Wings won 8 out of 9 division titles, but the Devils have only won 5 out of 9 but people always say that the Wings play in a weak division but they have won several president's trophy awards (4). The Ducks ,Penguins, and Canes have also won and lost a Finals series in the decade but also missed the playoffs a few seasons in the decade.

As much as I hate them, I'd have to consider the Wings the team of the decade. Consistently one of the top teams in the league, always a cup contender, it's hard to argue with the Wings as top team of the decade. Bastards

sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=4261699A bankruptcy judge has rejected the proposed sale of the Phoenix Coyotes to Jim Balsillie, who would have moved the team to Hamilton, Ontario. Yeah, that makes sense. Let's keep the Coyotes in Phoenix, a city that has shown for over a decade that it is not responding to professional hockey. And why bother moving a team to Ontario? They already have the Maple Leafs and Senators. It's not like Canada likes hockey or anything. It's almost like Gary Bettman and the NHL higher-ups are in this thing to lose money. After seeing the ratings of Game Seven of the Stanley Cup Finals, they're probably going to move the 2010 Cup Finals to some obscure cable access channel with the puck dropping at 4 a.m.

So Jim kinda shot himself in the foot, however he could apply to purchase the team later and move it a year or 2 down the road. The judge hasn't ruled out the team moving, he just said getting the deal done by the end of June isn't enough time to make a proper ruling. I do agree with the comments about Bettman tho, what an ass

I say this. Bettman could be running the show. God I hate him.

This is a story that I was reminded of but I don't really have the details. My cousins moved to Florida near Tampa in the mid to late nineties to around 2000for some reason. And they are big hockey fans at least I he is who married in is a huge one hell he was apart of the 334 crowd. So anytime the Devils came down they would natch get tickets. So they almost get kicked out of the arena for cheering too loud for the Devils. Knowing him he was probably drunk she probably was too but she hides it better. And than later that night they are leaving the arena and see than gm Phil Esposito outside and I guess he stirs some shit with him and they have Phil Esposito chasing after them. It made talk shows. I just thought it was a nice story to break up the pre draft maliaze.

Steve Mason wins the Calder and Ovechkin wins the Pearson
The best part of the award ceremony is seeing the players with their hot wives or girlfriends. Or in Patrick Kane's case last year his hot sisters.

The subconsicous always at work, he used the words "nuts" and "grim death" to to describe Kessel. See? The mind is always working on dirty jokes, even if you're not aware. Is it sad that I really did that on purpose? Bruins come out big at the award's show. Thomas definitely deserved the Vezina.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS JOHN TAVARES.
The HOUSE IS PACKED for the Islanders draft party (17,000 signed up as of yesterday). We shall be exceedingly drunk. Do Not make us take Mike Bossy hostage, Garth!

They've traded away alot of great players, who basically turned around and become great with other teams.

Is it sad that I really did that on purpose? Bruins come out big at the award's show. Thomas definitely deserved the Vezina. Chara deserved the Norris. I'm happy that they gave it to a defenseman who actually plays defense. I fully expected them to give it to Mike Green, because of his huge offensive output. Green is essentially a winger, considering he barely plays actual defense. Maybe Thomas can thank the fans of Boston by cutting his new contract down to about $3 million a season, so the B's can re-sign Kessel, Recchi, Bitz and Hunwick.

The Leafs are after Tavares big time. So I don't know what'll happen there - if they'll make a deal with the Islanders or what to get him.
It was also mentioned in the local paper that maybe Basille should buy the Islanders maybe and move them to Ontario.

Do Not make us take Mike Bossy hostage, Garth! So if they draft Hedman what would happen? Maybe that's their plan. They like Hedman fans like offense and Tavares so they trade down a spot have the fans destroy the Colisium and they have to build the new one
