JR Apologizes for Ledger Remark

Heath Ledger fans took me to task about my poor choice of words during Rey Mysterio's entrance at WM25 and for good reason. I had something else I wanted to say in reference to Rey's attire and I fumbled. My bad. My attempt to make a topically, funny remark came out wrong but it's on me. Sometimes on live TV things are said that one would like to have back but when one works without a net that's what occasionally happens. Nonetheless I am sorry for offending any of you with my remarks.

Really caught me off guard when he said it. It isn't like Jim to say something that flat out stupid. It's cool that he took responsibility for it though and owned up. It's all good Jim.

I'll forgive him, at least he's apologised and explained himself. I'd like to hear to what he meant to say being as though the original remark was so derogatory towards Ledger. Leave the comedy to Lawler JR.

If Rey was wearing a Blue Blazer mask and JR said the same thing, would it have been as funny?

I'm genuinely curious if people think it's funny because the death joke itself was funny, or if there is just a backlash from so many people acting like Heath Ledger was the greatest actor of all time after he died.

But cant the same be said for Owen? How most people put him up there with all time greats now? Granted, it was a while ago and the Ledger backlash is relatively fresh.

But yea, Id have laughed if it was a Blazer costume.
