Am I the only one disturbed by this attitude that Japanese wrestlers are an inherently superior breed of wrestler? The style they work is superior. And why is that?

The style they work is superior. And why is that? It allows for guys who can really work to work, I know not everyone is going to be out there going Japanese strong style and kicking the shit out of each other. I think the WWE holds back what some of their guys can do, they have some very very talented workers on their roster that could succeed in places like Japan with a higher workrate desire but they don't get to show it.

Honest question do you frequently watch puro matches or just WWE matches?

WWE holds them back for Safety reasons and The MUCH Larger Schedule where they'll work multiple Matches in one week

But I think some of it does come from their desire to not push cruisers or anything resembling a fast pace cruiser style as it might show up some of their draws. I think safety is a nice excuse to not let guys who can really pop a crowd do it.

WWE holds them back for Safety reasons and The MUCH Larger Schedule where they'll work multiple Matches in one week This. I doubt any human being can work that style with the schedule that the big E has. Even if they tried, they would have ten years at max before they completely burn out.

All Japan Women worked 5 - 6 days a week, and didn't hold back at all. Most of their workers still work today. If you train right, you can work that schedule. They should be the ones making the money, not the people who can barely work 3 days out of the week doing soft and small bumps.

I don't think they should have to work that style all the time just the same as I don't think they should have a mandated WWE style, you'd think everyone would have their own style and they'd mesh together in the amount of time given.

Well it still ends up with what you said before about protecting the Top Draws That's what happened alot in WCW they would do Highspots and Planchas galore in the Opener and the Mid Card Six Man and end up making the ME look like crap

Wow, looked through the 9 pages, and you've all missed the one guy who probably has the best shot to get in the WWE:
Kenny Omega.
Former worker in Deep South, left in 2007 to get more training elsewhere and has been in Japan pretty much ever since.

The NWO and some other guys were there for the storylines and promos and such but guys who could really work were allowed to work, there was something for everyone.

Again, get the guys who are conditioned and trained to work that style. Not everyone can work that style, but that's why the main eventers should be the one who can take that style. Yeah, I also think you shouldn't go all out on a house show, but when you're on TV I do believe you can do that style and still do all the traveling.

Still that shouldn't happen The ME Should be the most anticpated match on the card In WCW and Recently on RAW its where People leave or switch the channel
