Somewhere, Harold weeps and comforts himself with White Castle.
It's just amazing how basically everyone in america has seen at least some of his movies.

Damn, there goes about 30% of the 1980's. I enjoyed so many of his films, and I don't think there will ever be a better high school movie than The Breakfast Club.
God speed, Mr. Hughes.

Wow, made Home Alone 2 (my favorite of the HA series) and Ferris Bueller's Day Off, one of my all-time top 5 comedies.
RIP, Mr. Hughes.

Holy crap. I am honestly not trying to be funny, but I didn't even know he was sick. Ferris Bueller's Day Off is among my favorite movies.

Planes, Trains & Automobiles is one of the best movies ever made
Breakfest Club, Ferris Bueller, Weird Science
So many classics. So many classic movies. He hasn't done much recently and you just know there was at least one more classic film coming from him someday (possible a dozen)
RIP. He will truly be missed. I think everyone here has been touched by him in one way or another through his films (who doesn't get emotinal watch Planes, Trains, and Automobiles?)
