I cried. Especially at JR's words and seeing how much it affected some people, like Debra or others you wouldn't think of, like Road Dog.

While my memory isn't good enough to remember if I was too upset when he passd (I'm sure I was, but I was young), I read an online article someone had written (I even posted it on this board) that made me shed a few tears. I downloaded and watched the Raw special after that and not a time goes by that I don't get teary eyed and have to fight them off. Again, when they aired the top 10 Raw moments the night before Homecoming, it got me a little emotional, enough so that I changed the channel when they aired it the next day.

This thread is meant to be about whether or not you cried during the Raw Owen tribute show. Not whether or not footage of his death exists. Keep it on topic people.
And, for the record, I cried like a baby throughout the show

I don't remember crying, but I just thought it was so surreal. I was lucky enough to get the Owen Hart Tribute Show downloaded, so if there is anyone who's interested in seeing the show again, I can get it for you, so you can post here or PM me. It's a show that I personally will never forget.

We never saw Owen in the ring that night as the cameras kept panning shots of the crowd and of JR. Also I don't think there is any footageof Owen falling from the ceiling as I'm sure they do turn the hard camera off in between matches when nothing is happening inside the arena. I doubt it, there is footage, it was used as evidence in the courtcase (wrongful death suit), whether it is in the national vaults, or if it has been destroyed, I don't want to see it, he was my favorite wrestler... Let's get back on topic

Well to be fair discussions progress. It does indeed keep threads healthy and alive with discussion instead of
"Yes"
"no"
"Yes"
"no"
Answers which a lot of threads would command if it wasn't for the intuition of fellow board-crappers who 98% of the time take an already good thread and turn it into something more.

I see i wasn't the only one who cried at the J.R. line. I think J.R's final goodbye got me for few reasons. it's something, i think all people think and feel when a person close to them passes. It's definitely something i have said in the past year to myself.
As for the footage thing. It's a simple thing. Yes, the wwe has footage. They had to submit it during the investigation. The wwe planned to film his descent down to the ring. Like jack said they have a fixed camera set to the ring at all times. Whether or not the wwe has a copy, got back the masters from the DA's office or whatever. It's not really important.

I cried at the time and a few times after when I would watch it, but I just get choked up now, no tears.
Just to confirm, there is/was footage of the fall and also of everything after. According to Martha Hart's book, after it happened there was a camera man documenting everything until Owen was loaded into the ambulance. Obviously, this will never be released to the public.
But, yea, I cried. I also cried the night it happened. I didn't see it, but someone called and told me he fell (I didn't find out he died until the next morning) and cried after the call while laying in bed thinking about it. I just knew he couldn't survive that kind of thing.

I got a tear in my eye. Not full blown crying. But a tear. I told my roomate when we were watching it, I'd "probably tear it up"....I got a tear, yeah. Which, for the record, is a perfectly manly thing to do.

I cried from the very beginning... especially when Mark Henry and Jeff Jarrett were shown crying and looking up at the rafters/heavens.

I downloaded the RAW Tribute show to watch it,and I got very emotional. I didn't shed alot of tears, but they were there in my eyes.I shed one or two, as others, during the JR line.
Even though it has been 6 years after it happened, it felt surreal watching that show, I felt like he really had died the previous day.
Yeah,..that show got me teary-eyed.

I cried from the very beginning... especially when Mark Henry and Jeff Jarrett were shown crying and looking up at the rafters/heavens. Same here, those two almost made me cry with their comments. I'm lucky that I had something to do briefly that stopped me from crying. I'm voting yes.

Yes, I did that during that Raw and during the top raw moments last week I also cried. The best moment was at the end Steve Austin saluted Owen and he left a beer in the ring.

The most I've been upset was when it was announced that Gorilla Monsoon passed away.

I almost cried... ALMOST.
But I rarely cry about anything, though I was touched by the show, well the Tribute I mean.
