You're being too nice, Spike.
Get this train back on track or this gets locked.

yeah, i shed a few tears. it was so surreal, then the raw tribute show and the tribute on nitro as well. its was like wcw and wwf called out a truce for one night during the monday night wars out of respect for owen. seeing it again 6 years later, the emotion is still there, still kinda sad too.

I did. I'm pretty emotional anyway, and seeing everyone that was close to him so hurt and saddened by the event really shook me up.

I didn't cry during the tribute, but a few hours later I did.I was watching it(I hadn't found out that Owen had died yet) and when I found out he died, in all my dumbassness, I said something like "Jeff Jarrett doesn't have a partner anymore." Later that night, after thinking about his death, I randomly broke down and started crying.

One of the biggest reasons why I was so upset is because it dawned on me that I had been watching him on television since early childhood. The Blue Blazer was one of the very first wrestlers I'd ever seen on TV, when I was a very young boy.

I cried during the poem by Mark Henry...seeing him break down and cry strill makes me get misty-eyed.

I didnt watch that Over Th Edge PPV, so I didnt hear about it until the morning after. I remember my brother waking me up for school. The first thing he said was "Yo, Owen Hart died last night." The first thing I did was turn on the TV, and there it was on the screen. I was in shock. That night on RAW, with the tribute, It was so hard to hold back tears just watching the commentaries from the wrestlers. I balled out like a baby that night.
The night of the RAW Top 10, I was at my friends house watching it, and I remembered how emotional that whole thing was. I was teary eyed on the ride home thinking about how the general feeling was that night of RAW.

I cried during the Memorial Show. Especially when J.R. did his speech. I remember being silent during it's spot in the top 10 of Raw followed with disgust at the fact that they felt Steve Austin driving a beer truck was worth more than the Memorial.

I was oh lets say 14 that year. I had a habit of reading the wrestling news each day but didnt get a chance to that day, we had been out in town all day and i had school the next day and went to bed when we got back. when I woke up I had heard on the radio that some wrestling athelete(sp i know) had fallen to his death the night before..baffled i checked the news to see that Owen Hart had passed away. i didnt cry all day at school until i got home and watched raw. and on sunday also thinking that the raw that night was a hell of a lot more important than austin driving a beer truck i almost cried during the Jr part... I wish I can be as half as a good of a man as you Owen so that I can see you again someday...

I was choked up during the actual memorial and on the top 10 moments and my eyes were tearing up. But i didnt start to cry until seeing the wrestlers on the ramp crying really made my eyes start to water then the jr part started tears. Yah sure u dont know owen but just think that u wathced for him like your whole life and he died in such a tragic way.

That might be the most ironic statement I've ever seen. Took the words out of my mouth. Some people just don't know when to keep their mouths shut.

this might sound a little harsh but grow up just a little bit. I think you should be the one taking your advice. Please keep comments like that to yourself. We have alot of members who are kind enough and brave enough to admit personal & intimate feelings on the passing of a man they admire and respect. A man in a profession they enjoy immensely. If you cannot fathom why these members are feeling the way they have expressed, maybe you should take a moment and look at yourself. You don't have to know someone personally to feel sympathy for that person and his family. call me what u will but i just cant see crying for a man that i hardly knew. and im sure u ppl only know what you've seen and heard from WWE specials. this might sound a little harsh but grow up just a little bit. Ya know. We watch and admire the ability of the wrestlers, but don't always appreciate what they have given us. From the absence to their family, the struggles they go thru to make it to the top of their chosen profession, to the pure athletic ability that each and every wrestler brings to the table and when you take that into account and you truly understand what kind of sacrifices they must make and then when a tragedy like this happens....you realize something, Owen died entertaining us - the fans. That's why we shed a tear for owen hart it doesn't make you any less of a person if you do and it doesn't make you a cold hearted prick if you don't shed a tear for owen, but when people sit on their high horses and mock or question these fans for sharing personal feelings on a performer that entertained them and more importantly for a fantastic human being, they could not be more wrong than they are.

If you dont get emotional about people you dont know personally fine..but to insult peple who do just shows your lack of understanding. it IS possible to feel empathy for someone you dont personally know. It works like this. He was a father. He had kids. I too have kids. Thinking about what my children would go through if I were killed makes me understand and feel sorry for what his do. Same thing with his wife, parents, friends, brothers, and co workers. I think anyone who can show empathy has grown up, and thats why we arent insulting people at random on a wrestling forum.

Last warning. Cut the poking at each other or this gets locked. Some people cried, some people didn't. If you can't stop flaming each other, this is history.
And damn it, Shac. Your post made me cry.
