Just watching that RAW Top 10 show and they had some of the clips from the Owen Hart tribute as the number 2 moment, a tear came to my eye.... I remember watching the Owen Hart Raw Tribute Live on TV when it was first aired, and I knew someone who was at that PPV Over the Edge(which looking back is a errie title given how he died the night), in 1999 and saw it actually happen before his eyes and I was watching it live at home on PPV, and you didn't actually see it happening on TV, because if I am remembering correctly they were showing something like a video compilation of him, and it came back to the ring and he was lying there dead with EMTs surrounding him.... The following night I remember watching that Raw and balling my eyes out....
Did you cry during the Owen Hart Raw Tribute?

Yes, but not until JR said that "so I can see him again" thing.

I think I was able to hold in my tears most of the time, but they really started to flow when JR said his peace; "I'll miss that rascal. Goodbye Owen, and I hope that I can be as good a person as you, *breaking down* so I can see you once again".

No, from what i have seen of owen, if it happened now I would. But i was around 9/10 years old and did not really get the gravity of the situation.

I cried at the time.
Just on a related note whenever I, um - I mean a "friend" is downloading WWF matches which I, sorry HE sometimes does it is quite disturbing at the ammount of WATCH OWEN FALL TO HIS DEATH results which come up when you enter WWE/WWF on the search engine of these fileshare programs

I was looking for a few Bret vs. Owen matches last night and I got bombarded with all those. I did not really want to see a man fall to his death but I was curious. I got Vic Grimes falling of a scaffold so I figured it was for the best and I really dont want to see th OWen thing.

I don't think there's any known footage of Owen's fall, and if there is, WWE's got it locked up tight somewhere.

There has to be footage as the camera would have caught it.

My mates brother tried to d/l the fall, it was cut to JR. Like it's been said before if theres footage it's been locked up or I'd even go as far to guess that it's been destoryed because if it was ever leaked it would effectively destroy the WWE.

How would it destroy WWE?

We know how he fell, what happened etc. That's public knowledge. Not as if ever the footage get shown people are going to go "Oh he FELL, right, well thats it I'm not watching that again!!"

The Titantron was playing an entrance video when he fell so that the fall was not captured. I really doubt that any footage exist or if it does, it definately has not been leaked, which is definately for the better.

Of course footage exsists. The main camera is focused on the ring at all times. They don't turn it off inbetween matches or segments.

I'm sure Vince had any footage destroyed.

...I mean if you catch someones death on camera I would imagine it's illegal to knowingly destroy the footage without submitting it to the autorities first. And possible the Hart family too.

We never saw Owen in the ring that night as the cameras kept panning shots of the crowd and of JR. Also I don't think there is any footageof Owen falling from the ceiling as I'm sure they do turn the hard camera off in between matches when nothing is happening inside the arena.

No they dont turn the camera off. It would be dumb if they did. it'd be like switching off all the lights when it went to a backstage segment. The camera is on all the time because if they turn it off they have to set it all up again when they switch it on. Footage exists. It'll never be seen by the public though and rightfully so.

...it's like at a TV studio. They may have six cameras with only one ACTIVE (filming) but all the cameras are always on so they can cut to different cameras whenever they wish.
