Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Raid.
He may get a harder push than AmDrag, given his look and mic work.

I always, always knew that Nigel was going to make it to the E some day. Good for him, and I can't wait for him to lariat the balls off of everyone.

I think he has a shot of doing well for himself there. Have him with Burchill or maybe Regal on ECW and he'll do fine,IMO.

For what its worth, I fully expect WWE to totally throw me for a loop, and sign Chris Hero next.

I want Delirious.
I know he'd just be like Tajiri in the comedy sense. That means that he'd get a few serious runs too, and I could totally deal with that.

I'm not a HUGE Nigel fan, but I do admit that the guy's a good catch for WWE. He should do well there, barring injuries.

Being a huge Nigel fan, I just heard this wonderful news a few minutes ago and promptly marked out. Best wishes, Nigel: keep the lariat alive!

I'd really love it if WWE played up on his Johnny Rotten look and make him a punker from Britian with an acerbic attitude.
Hell give him a Gordon Ramsay gimmick, yeah i'd love to see the guy in ECW though.
I'm going to lol when people think OMG Kennedy's back, but it's Nigel.
Oh and just as an aside I really hope WWE picks up Human Tornado

Nigel looks a lot like freddie flintoff in that last pic. and whaddaya know, hes extremely overrated and hideously injury-prone too. 'Side-Leg' Scotty Matthews, wrestlings first cricketer anyone?

I'm really happy WWE is finally starting to bring in indy wrestlers again. It looks like they are taking some chances with a different type of wrestler, which is great news.

I remember seeing him briefly in OVW in a non-wrestling role, so methinks WWE had him on their radar for a bit now. Good for him; talented guy and, whatever you want to say about him and his title reign, he worked his ass off in ROH and deserves the opportunity.

I know I'm going to get slaughtered for saying it, but I honestly believe that both companys would gain from WWE buying ROH. Create a talent exchange program, yadda yadda yadda.
WWE could get new guys and refresh their roster and ROH could afford a couple of WWE already established wrestlers to bring some "star power" to ROH (I'm not bashing ROH, I just think business wise it would be the best option)

It would be beneficial to both parties

Hopefully it will benefit both. Otherwise, this may just end up killing off ROH, losing all their top stars. I wonder if Vince is doing this intentionally. Think about it-he wants to shut the IWC up, and he'll do it by taking away its crown jewel, giving all its stars lame gimmicks like the aforementioned cricketer persona, and leave what's left of ROH to rot away.

Yeah...I'm sure that's it. ;D I don't think Vince even knows what an IWC is.
