When has the bad guy actually been the good guy in wrestling?
-Punk, a hard working young man who refuses to give in to the peer pressure of the drug fuelled WWE environment, spends months warning people that Jeff Hardy is a reckless drug addict who can't be trusted and is a poor role model to the youth of America. He is booed and hated for this. Then a week after Hardy leaves WWE, he's caught drug trafficking. Thus, showing Punk was exactly right.
- Batista's entire feud with Khali: Batista complains about never getting a title shot (despite having 439 shots already), trashes Khali, even though he won the belt fair and square, and ruins his happy victory celebration (where Khali wasn't doing anything remotely heelish and was just having fun)
- Molly complaining and saying she shouldn't be called a "fat ass".

Chris Jericho accusing Michaels of faking an injury. I still don't get why he was the heel there.

Kurt Angle. Since CM Punk is basically Angle version 2.

The Jericho / Michaels feud could go either way depending on how you chose to read it, so there's that. Both of them did plenty of questionable things during it and both had valid points.
Who else... Oh, a good one recently was the Shelton Benjamin / Zack Ryder feud, where Ryder was the heel and yet Benjamin's the one who committed basically every underhanded act in the feud, constantly attacked him after matches, and picked a fight in the first place.
Another good recent one also from ECW was the Goldust / Sheamus feud - all Sheamus did was beat him a couple of times, and the feud escalated when after that happened Goldust jumped him and beat the hell out of him.

Chavo Guerrero in 2006, when he accused Rey Mysterio of riding on the Guerrero coattails.

I don't know if I'd say Punk was babyface, but following the news about Jeff Hardy, he is more sympathetic. Even if WWE never intended it.

Bret Hart when he was going up against DX was essentially right about them not caring about wrestling tradition, and being in-general asshats.
They humped the Canadian flag, for goodness sakes!

Sheamus was right in his recent fight with Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin hits Sheamus with a blind tag, and then takes the pin away from him. I don't think I'd be too happy with Benjamin, either.

May I remind everyone that ORTON was being chased around by Triple H throughout the feud for Wrestlemania 25?
Or Cena, being a dick, and showing tapes of Vickie's affair...EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD DONE EVERYTHING HE ASKED OF HER?

While I do not endorse adultery, blackmailing and then breaking a deal did made him look like an ass.

Paul Orndorff is my favorite old-school example of this. Hogan really was a glory hog, didn't appreciate him, and took him for granted. Ornodorff just wanted friends that appreciated him and considered him a peer, and he found that acceptance in the Heenan Family. That was a much healthier social situation for him.

Mike Knox, who was a heel for not wanting his girlfriend to cheat on him and strip in front of an audience of millions. That NEVER made sense to me.

I thought Knox was upset because Kelly had the crush on Punk But anyway he could've just dumped the girl instead he let her on than beat her down

Simon Dean. It's not like sitting around eating nachos and drinking beer isn't what the crowd is actually doing.

RTC Stevie Richards. He was trying to get a pimp (complete with ho's) and a porn star off of a wrestling show that was watched by millions of kids.
Kidman was being boo'd because he didn't want to perform a move that injured another wrestler.

While I do not endorse adultery, blackmailing and then breaking a deal did made him look like an ass. I don't either, but the fact Cena throughout all that was chuckling on the sidelines while Show and Edge were having a heel vs. heel feud over Vickie just bugs me. What about Steiner vs. Triple H? Not really a "Heel is right" scenario, but it's laughable that fans actually CHEER for the bad guy, especially when that bad guy is TRIPLE H.
