whether it is WCW or TNA it doesn't matter. For that matter, any celebrity paid to be on WCW. Except David Arquette. His money went somewhere good.

The contract WCW gave Lanny Poffo just to sit home and not work for the WWE.

Inoki buying an island from Fidel Castro because he claimed there was treasure on it.
Inoki embezzling the funds from NJ because he wanted to fund scientific research in order to surpass Thomas Edison, a guy he supposedly hated.
I'm sure the total cost of drug abuse by wrestlers over the years could add up to millions.
Would the Invasion count?

Kane's ring post firebursts (when not on PPV). Non-PPV Pyro (though it seems Linda took care of that one) Brock Lesnar (though WWE couldn't predict him quitting like that) Kid Rock WM25 Empty Arena matches Black Saturday WWF/E Films Jeritron 5000 when it got smashed Undertaker's elaborate entrances Wrestlers who hardly wrestle (like Funaki, Curt Hawkins, JWY, etc.) Wrestlers who didn't get put to good use (Braden Walker, Kizarny, Hade Vansen, etc.) 90-day no-compete clauses (seriously is TNA a threat like WCW once was?) Tape Libraries of old wrestlers/matches that I doubt very many people under 30 even know or care about. JBL's Limo and special celebration pyro I don't see how any of these are wastes

I don't see how any of these are wastes Not even Kid Rock? I don't think he was cheap, and the fans reaction was quite lukewarm.

Master P and the No Limit Soldiers.
(Minus the money spent on the Rap is Crap video. That was worth every penny and then some.)

From a kayfabe perspective, how about Trips giving Batista $100,000 for injuring Goldberg for all of about two weeks?

I agree for the most part. Just a few points I want to mention.
Firstly, the video tape library that Vince McMahon owns is one of the biggest goldmines the WWE currently has. Last I checked people over 30(which I'm not and I still care about wrestling history so there goes that theory), have disposable income to spend on things like DVD sets. In no way can Vince buying those libraries be considered a waste of money.
Secondly, the Jeritron 5000 that was smashed was a prop that a decently talented production designer could whip up for about forty bucks. A hollow box and candyglass. Also, I'm sure the money they made off of the angle more than evened things out.
Those were the two major disagreements with that list.

How about some music?
Kid Rock at WM25 (not even included on the DVD!) Slikk the Shocker on Nitro KISS on Nitro (KISS was never even that great as a musical group, but hoo boy was that ever a waste...) Megadeth on Nitro (Goldberg's regular theme music sounded cooler!) Rey/Konnan's "music videos" (a very generous classification) That WWE album where everybody's theme was remixed as rap music
I'm probably the only person who enjoyed 3 Count's theme more than any of these performances. Of course, even they can't compare to the gold that was the West Texas Rednecks, but still.

WCW signing Bret Hart.
He didn't make a difference. Didn't draw any money. And did absolutely nothing. Way to go Eric.
