So I guess we have these two to blame for the fact that RAW is staler than year old bread these days. Suppose I'm not surprised by this revelation, though I would think Triple H has more to do with it then Michaels.

I have a hard time believing this..especially with Michaels.
I have a hard time believing that he would even care anymore.

Source: The Pro Wrestling Torch Oh don't bother telling us what they've done or anything, Torch. I'll just take your word that they're so explicitly hated because they're old and have an opinion. Even in the novelty sense this is disappointing. Let's get some tools or attire colors or something, guys!

Don't blame them.. blame the writers who must rely on the carcass of a dead horse that was cool in the late 90's and fun for a reunion.. but now it's just sad.
Doesn't Jeff Hardy's merch still outsell DX's to this day?

I find it hard to believe since it looks like they ACTUALLY are trying to elevate Ted and Cody. Plus when Shawn came back, wasn't hids first question to find out who's been getting pushes since he was gone?

Yeah, there's a word for this. Rhymes with Shark Date.

I'm sure they're just copy & pasting old stories and switching the dates around these days.

I think it would be the best for WWE, if HBK, Undertaker and especially HHH retired. Elevate Christian, Jericho, Punk to main event status! Push Ziggler, Morrison, Swagger, Bourne, Kingston towards being legitimate World Title contenders! WWE needs young guys to appeal to young people! I cannot buy HHH or HBK as young rebels. They should also try to scout a few hispanic talents to appeal to the hispanic audience. Rey Misterio is getting old and out of shape.
The good use of today's HHH would be a heel turn and make him a monster heel based on his real life persona. Have him bury some midcarders, but then elevate a young up-and-comer as his rival and have him beat him at Wrestlemania as a passing the torch moment. After that have HHH beat him again to tease a major dropping of the ball, but then have the youngster kill him in feud ending match. THEN MOTHERf***ING RETIRE HIM AND NEVER LET HIM COME BACK!

Yeah, there's a word for this. Rhymes with Shark Date. Mayhaps yes, mayhaps no, but easy to see how one might jump to that conclusion. We've all said the ME has been stale as year old bread, with some mix of three of those named. Kennedy said (take with liberal amount of salt) that badmouthing from two of them caused problems for him and depushes. Add in the fact that businesswise, this kind of thing happens all the time, and the jump is easier. Fact is if someone is "in good with the boss" their word carries more weight (for good or bad), so if Cena goes to Vince and says "this guy really doesn't need a push", Vince will be more apt to agree with him than, say, Funaki. It is most likely untrue in scope, as I doubt the entire locker room is angry with the four of them, but it is easy to see how one could piece together known facts (main event history, comments from people as they leave the company, ineplicible depushes or people being squashed seemingly out of nowhere) and simply insert conjecture to form a "story".

Problem is, if ever there's a time not to run a story like this, it's when DX are coming out of a pretty well-received feud with Legacy that helped Cody & Ted out a fair bit.
If they'd just squashed those two in 4 minutes on Raw, it would run better.

I tend to believe this story only because I already had a less than favorable opinion of the individuals acknowledged in this particular item. Now if this piece was about Chris Jericho, I would immediately admonish the writer and his organization for releasing such cheap drivel.

It wouldn't surprise me if the veterans would have some influence over who got promoted. I mean, it's only happened in every company ever.

Who know's if ALL of this story is true, but the push part is. Name someone that's isn't named Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, John Cena and Batista that has got a steady push on RAW.
I can think of 1, Jericho in 08.
