Whoopie, another WWE cast-off. So when a TNA guy comes to WWE, do you have the same attitude?

It's a good move if Lashley also does MMA, as his "Celebrity" status will rise and give TNA more marketability.

Whoopie, another WWE cast-off. So when a TNA guy comes to WWE, do you have the same attitude? Really if you look at the treatment both ways, there's a world of difference. WWE guys jump, it's a HUGE deal. Main event spot for a good while unless they really get lost in the shuffle (Rhino) or they get a niche like Morgan has. TNA guy jumps to WWE, he gets renamed, repackaged, remade, debuts, does some jobs, and that's all she wrote. Unless, of course, the "TNA guy" was previously in WWE, in which case they "just got out of prison" or "haven't been wrestling at all for a few years".

I'll put a few ifs on Lashley. IF they give him a mouthpiece and don't immediately make him "super-duper badass, kill everybody he faces" Lashley, then maybe it'll work.
HOwever, if it's "BLARG! Bathurd SMASH!" with him being the MEM's "young gun" who gets to kill AJ, Daniels, and company over and over, then really, what's the f***ing point? Another ex-WWE guy shows up and makes the TNA guys his bitch? Hasn't that gotten old already?
EDIT: And I'll give him two weeks before he cuts the standard "WWE is evil" promo and bashes them all to hell. Hell, he alrady blogged that "Evil has won", so it has to happen.

I really don't know about this. On the one hand its a great publicity move for TNA, Lashley was pretty much main eventing WWE before he got injured and some fans who remember will 'cross the line' and start watching, and its already gotten them exposure. On top of that, I actually quite liked Lashley's wrestling style.
On the other hand, I really hope TNA don't give the instant push WWE did where they shoved him down our throats. The guy has really bad mic skills and so shouldn't get too much mic time.

So TNA's great new business plan is to hire a talentless hack who left WWE in a publicly aired hissyfit about his talentless girlfriend? LAAAAAAAMMMMMEEEEEE. They've just given me great incentive NOT towatch Impact, just when I was finally starting to enjoy it!

Did anyone else think that his Titantron was a joke?
Seriously, David Flair's Titantron video is better than this piece of garbage.

This is very good pick up for TNA and I'm one of those people that crap on TNA for picking up WWE cast offs but, I don't on this one becasue Lashley is young and got alot left.

Prowrestling.NET
Bobby Lashley has not officially signed with TNA Wrestling, according to Dave Meltzer of WrestlingObserver.com. Lashley appeared on last night's show in an attempt to get acquainted with the company officials. He is also negotiating with the Strikeforce MMA promotion for a potential fight with Bob Sapp on June 27.
Powell's POV: Interesting development. I heard from someone associated with UFC today who said that Lashley working with TNA all but kills any chance he has of signing with the company. I'm sure TNA would love the crossover promotion given that UFC also appears on SpikeTV, but apparently UFC officials don't feel the same. For what it's worth, UFC President Dana White acted as if he'd never heard of Lashley when I interviewed him last summer.
