I know Lashley was ECW Champion and all but did anyone else laugh when Tenay refererred to Lashley as a "former world heavyweight champion"?

I know Lashley was ECW Champion and all but did anyone else laugh when Tenay refererred to Lashley as a "former world heavyweight champion"? Not really. I was pleasently surprised to see it was Lashley. It's not TNA's fault that WWE gives out world titles like candy. At that time, they were still pushing the ECW title as a pretty big deal, since it was just brought back. He won it from Big Show.

I say he will stay with TNA for about a month or two and then move on to MMA and if he doesn't do good in MMA(which I doubt considering he is already off to a good start although he hasn't faced anyone good yet) he will be back in TNA.
I also agree that they should not let him talk at all. He looks like this huge guy but his voice is like the voice of a small skinny looking short guy.
Something I don't understand at all though is why did they reveal Lashley before Tazz? Tazz is obviously huge in Philly and would have gotten a much bigger reaction although i was very surprised to see Lashley get such a good reaction. I think it was more of a suprise pop than anything though where the Philly crowd was caught off guard.
Something else. TNA needs to learn how to mic their crowds at PPVs. There is no way Philly was that dead quiet. No way.

MMA.Fanhouse.com reports that Lashley has signed for a fight with Bob Sapp, June 12. The article also says that he doesn't plan to wrestle for the company at this time.
