PRO WRESTLING NOAH FOUNDER MITSUHARU MISAWA PASSES AWAY AFTER IN-RING MISHAP by Mike Johnson @ 10:32 AM on 6/13/2009I am extremely saddened to report that one of the greatest in-ring workers of the modern age and the founder of Pro Wrestling NOAH, Mitsuhau Misawa died earlier this morning (tonight in Japan) following an in-ring accident stemming from a suplex. Went to SSS and saw this.

Misawa got cardiopulmonary arrest. He got backdrop and wasn't able to move. Match was stoped.

Almost certainly one of the top 10 wrestlers of all time dies taking a suplex. An absolute shock for the entire wrestling world, and proof that you have to take absolute care with any move, even a simple suplex.
At least you could say that Misawa died doing the one thing he loved, which makes it a slightly more acceptable death than the majority of the North American deaths. Still, it doesn't mean it's not saddening.
