so i just got home, the nearest Gamestop (about 25 mins from me in Illlinois) had a midnight release for it and I figured even though their midnight is my 1am, I figured id check it out
Alot of people waiting for the game, I was actually surprised as how many people were waiting in the line for the game...rivals Madden
Anyways, I havent got to play it yet, but i Loved the demo and cant wait to get into this game!!!!
Any other crappers pick this up yet.. and if so....wouldnt mine having some FAIR fights online!

Gamestop opens here in 13 minutes if they are doing a midnight release thing.
I don't think they'll do their midnight release here for anything not named Halo, or GTA.

I actually just played the demo for the first time today, and I knocked my friend out with a flying knee in the first ten seconds of one of our fights.

its really fun actually... i find it to be little to easy on the first difficulty.. but when u pump it up to the next level, its a REAL challenege. Im still learning the ground game and it sucks when every 15 seconds u gotta look to see what exactly u press to get outta someones mount...
but i really do love this game.. the career mode isnt bad ( im 2-2)..and it does seem like it has to load something every 5 seconds during it, but the actual gameplay is very addictive! even if Iam only 2-2

I really liked the demo. I might buy it but think I'm gonna buy Terminator tomorrow instead since I love the franchise and 360 didn't have a demo.

My created player is 10-5 in LHW. My ground game is a joke.
Love the game though. glitch alert though. my created player has been 22 for 3 years. I guess this is so Chuck Liddell isnt 50 by the time i get to fight him.

Best Buy had a pretty sweet deal with purchase of the game: Free UFC dvd of $14.95 value or under with a decent selection to choose from, free $10 best buy gift card and $10 off your next UFC ppv purchase coupon. I'm interested to see what kind of DLC and patches the game gets in the future. I really love the demo and like the game so far. I really love pounding the guys I don't care for heads in.

I got there when they opened at 9 and it wasn't busy at all. I didn't pay attention to how many copies they had on the end cap but I grabbed my ps3 copy of the game, chose my ufc best of 2007 dvd and got out of there. It would be cool if you could go back when they get more ps3 copies in but I am sure they are limiting the deal to stock on hand with the dvd's. I know as you increase the difficulty, it gets harder, but I can't imagine what this game is like on Expert when I'm sweating while playing on Experienced.

I'm interested to see what kind of DLC and patches the game gets in the future. If you buy from GameStop, you get a code to download Efrain Escudero and Ryan Bader. I played the demo for about TWO HOURS. It is so addicting and fun. My best knockout was Shogun was ducking towards me to take me down, and BAM, knee right in the face, KO. |

Got the game this afternoon, pretty fun.
Second fight in, my brother takes James Irvin and I'm Tim Boetsch. Come to the centre...BLAMMO!
Boetsch is dead, fight's over in four seconds.
Because of that, I love this game.

Ready for glitch city? On my PS3 copy:
- No matter who I pick in Exhibition, they are the champ of whatever weight division you are fighting in. Checked this a bunch of times, still happened.
- My submissions get the tapout 100% of the time. On top of this, I don't even press buttons or rotate the stick. It started a fight before my Light Heavyweight title fight in Career.
I tried upping the difficulty, didn't change a thing. I am heartbroken.
Edit: Did a reset. Fixed the sub glitch seemingly. Still having problems with the champ thing.

Just retired at 34-0, with 7 KO Of The Night awards, but only 1 Fight of the Night. Dammit! I even forced myself to go 5 rounds with Rashad Evans for my retirement fight to try and get another one!

I'm 18-2 in the heavyweight division and just about to fight Frank Mir for the belt. Dose anyone else think the Lesner is the most overpowered athlete in a sports game not named Bo Jackson or Michael Vick? I mean damn, I can't get even get close without a damn takedown and a hammer punches from hell.

Love this game. I've been Cro Copping everyone within sight. Two issues though.
1: Submissions are ridiculously hard in my copy.
2: No Spectator mode. Was it honestly that hard to have the CPU fight itself?
Also kinda hoped I'd be able to unleash the fury of Lesnar on Josh Koscheck. Oh well.
