Anyone got any advice on getting a submission?? I spin the hell out of the right stick and button mash like crazy and I still can't get it. My submission offense is 70 and my BJJ is level 3. And if it matters I always seem to be fighting Nate Diaz, Sean Sherk, BJ Penn, Ken Flo and Joe Stevenson. I believe the idea is to apply it to a tired opponent. Maintain control, block their position changes and make them work. Now I've a question for you: You say your BJJ is at three; How is it that you raise those levels?

I've managed two kneebars and an armbar online so far - sometimes you have to time it just right. Seen them applied really late in fights, but I've been beaten in the first minute by a guillotine.

You go to the training camps and say you want to work on BJJ. You have to pull off certain moves to get points. When you reach 150 points, you go up a level, get new moves, and bonuses.

Do you have any rough guideline for what moves they're looking for?

I just retired my heavyweight with a 29-6 reccord. 20 KO, and 9 decisions. 3 losses to Lesner (but I beat him 3 times), one to Mir, and two to Nogaria (and beat him 5 times). I'm about to start a lightheavyweight career. How the f*** to you get into the hall of fame. I'm a 4 time champ with 3 KO of the night and 2 fight of the night.

LOL. I just now figured out that you have to schedule events and then do them. I'm amazed I still have any fans seeing how many autograph signings and other events that I've no-showed.

Helpage!
-Do your styles have just one set of moves or can you learn different things based on who you choose as a training partner?
-Is kickboxing the only striking style that allows for headkicks?
-Why don't you age? That's stupid.

That's stupid. 1. You get to chose on striking and one ground diciplin. by compleating the camps, you get more options in the tech you chose, but you cant chose other techs......2. Mui Ty has head kicks.....3. Cause otherwise, most big named fighters would be gone by the time you get to fight them.

And if it matters I always seem to be fighting Nate Diaz, Sean Sherk, BJ Penn, Ken Flo and Joe Stevenson. First thing is that you don't have to spin the stick really fast. In fact I've found that you just need to spin methodically to get one, since it seems spinning simply tells the game that you are going for a submission. A lot of it has to do with how much endurance each person has, so the best advice I could give you is go for a submission just about when they are gassed. If your playing the CPU turn on the endurance bar to give you a better idea of when to go for one.

Cheers for the help on submissions people, i've now won 3 by submission (2 triangles and a kneebar).
My guy is being forced to retire in a year. Its nearly Nobember so not long left now. I'm undefeated thus far, hopefully I can retire with the title and undefeated.

I defended my title vs Brandon Vera. I knocked him out in 16 seconds. My created fighter is an unstoppable I've only lost one fight and that was to Arlovski off of a fluke right hand. It's ok though, I got my win back, KO with a headkick in about 45 seconds.

Online is a little laggy. Won my first fight online with a Kneebar by Wandi. Hell yeah.
Won 2nd fight against some guy using Anthony Johnson. I was Karo. Dude just spammed head kicks, blocked em. Took me down to open mount. Blew all his stamina, and I caught him with an armbar at 3:35R1. MHMMMM.
