I'm a bit late getting these up, but here's the results: Ishmeal Insane did not send any answers this week, therefore he is out of the competition. This week's lowest scoring contestant will join him. In first place with 13pts is "Statman" PKSandman. Congrats, you move into the finals. That leaves Muskrat: A Platypus Warrior!!, Jazzman and "Franchise" Ox Baker. Two of you move into the finals with 12pts, one of you exits the competition with 9pts. The person leaving us this week is: "Franchise" Ox Baker. Sorry to see you go, but thanks for participating. That means our final group consists of "Statman" PKSandman, Jazzman and Muskrat: A Platypus Warrior!!! I'll have the answers for this round up later. The championship round will be a little bit different...

1. 80s Music: Prince used the pseudonym “Christopher” when he wrote a hit song for another artist. Which song and which artist?“Manic Monday” – The Bangles: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAZgLcK5LzI 2. 80s Music: Which artist beat out Glass Tiger, Nu Shooz, Simply Red, and Timbuk3 to win the Best New Artist Grammy in 1987?Bruce Hornsby and the Range. “Mandolin Rain”: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uravhL8FbY
3. Movie Music: Irene Cara won an Oscar for her part in writing which movie theme song?“Flashdance (What a Feeling)”. She also sang the vocals for the theme from the movie Fame, which also won a Best Original Song Oscar. She had nothing to do with the writing of Fame, whereas she wrote the lyrics for Flashdance: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFA8RElFNRM 4. Movie Music: "The Flower of Carnage" by Meiko Kaji is featured in Kill Bill Vol. 1. What movie was it originally written for?Lady Snowblood, a film that Tarantino lovingly ripped off. : www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ma3kdneCvcY5. Classic Rock: If you are syncing Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon with the film The Wizard of Oz, which song begins right when Dorothy opens the door to Munchkin Land?“Money” as evidenced here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvT-C8QArok6. Classic Rock: The Beach Boys had a number one hit in 1966 with “Good Vibrations.” What was their next number one hit?“Kokomo” in 1988, which was a gap of 22 years. 7. 90s Music: What is the dedication on REM’s 1994 album Monster?“For River” was the exact dedication, in reference to River Phoenix who died of a drug overdose earlier that year. 8. 90s Music: Name four artists besides Sarah McLachlan who played at the original 1997 edition of Lilith Fair.Any four of these: * Leah Andreone * Fiona Apple * Autour de Lucie * Meredith Brooks * The Cardigans * Tracy Chapman * Paula Cole * Shawn Colvin * Sheryl Crow * Patty Griffin * Emmylou Harris * Juliana Hatfield * Susanna Hoffs * Indigo Girls * Jewel * Yungchen Lhamo * Lisa Loeb * Tara MacLean * Dayna Manning * Abra Moore * Joan Osborne * Lhasa de Sela * September 67 * Suzanne Vega * Wild Colonials * Wild Strawberries * Dar Williams * Victoria Williams 9. Ringo Starr. He appeared in the season 2episode “Brush with Greatness”, answering a long-ago fan letter written to him by a young Marge Simpson.
