The Rumble that Flair won is tough to beat, though the one that Hogan won by eliminating Mr. Perfect had the single greatest eliminating bump that I recall (Hogan Slingshotted Perfect over the turnbuckle, causing him to land face-first into the post, and then to the floor.)

Surprized entries always kick ass. Because it's always pretty obvious who's gonna win. Even Royal Rumble 92, which is often hailed as the best, you knew it was only about 1 of 4 guys who was gonna win.

Other. People taking finishers and getting up groggily so they can be more easily eliminated.

I was marking out like crazy when Diesel ended up owning a good solid 10 minutes of the 1994 Royal Rumble. Thats and Benoit winning are my two favorite Royal Rumble moments.

My favorite match has anyways been the Royal Rumble, and I've always wished that a nobody or someone out of the blue would win.

I voted other and go with the "who is gonna get eliminated the quickest" spot.
Quake + Bushwhacker + Royal Rumble = Greatest Rumble moment ever

I always wished that some midcarder would win it, just for the confused pop; and then just let the guy celebrate like crazy in the ring, and maybe have some other midcarders come out and congratulate him, let the auidence get caught up in it; maybe even make it really crazy, like the last three people are Charlie Haas, The Undertaker and Kane, and Kane and Taker are fighting on the ropes, and Haas pushes them both over.
Cue crowd going "WTF!?"

IRS getting lanked of the top rope by his tie in 1991. It was a cool spot that WWF didn't over use so it looked cool on the ppv

Even Royal Rumble 92, which is often hailed as the best, you knew it was only about 1 of 4 guys who was gonna win. I didn't, I was 11 at the time and it could've been Flair,Hogan,Piper,Taker,Savage or Sid. It was very well done and my favorite Rumble match as it had an all-star lineup that will probably never be duplicated again. And it was certainly a great deal better than the Rumbles where the winner was practically given away weeks in advance (Benoit,Batista,Austin).

I forgot about the Maven, Undertaker elimination. That was awesome. Totally unexpected with the soon to follow (expected) beat down all over the arena.

I didn't like the post-elimination Maven beatdown. Even though it was in character for Taker, it really robbed Maven of any of the credibility he could've earned.

Gotta go for beginning to end, but I do agree that it's been overdone now. Like the nasty rumble with only a 30 second gap that Shawn won from No. 1 against Bulldog (No.2 I believe.) It was nasty cause it kinda hurt Ric Flair's number two win because they didn;t mention the fact it was rushed and upsetting.
That's not fair to Flair!

I personally enjoyed it when Jerry the King was hiding under the ring and Bret Hart went and drug him out.

Even funnier, in my opinion, the next year, Taker had just eliminated someone and while he was talking to them, Maven dropkicked him. Taker didn't go over this time, but Maven started celebrating anyway, shouting "Two in a row!" Cue slow turn, utter destruction, and Maven elimination.

I like "(insert midcarder here) could be going to Wrestlemania" not just because they say it with a straight face, but because technically all or at least most of the people in the rumble will either have a match at Wrestlemania or will at least be backstage at Wrestlemania.
They need to change that expression.
JR: "Stone Cold! Stone Cold! Stone Cold is going to Wrestlemania!"
Me: "Yep. Along with just about everyone else in the rumble, JR"
I'm sure the number of participants who were fired by Wrestlemania and therefore didn't have a match or weren't backstage and therefore didn't actually go to Wrestlemania is very small.
